Well Built, Perfect Size
You can't go wrong with Osprey. In my opinion, these are the best packs for travel, no matter what your situation is. These packs will fit in pretty much every overhead bin, so you will never have to worry about checking your carry on at the gate. And let's face it, who really wants to have to check their carry on? I normally pack light weight clothing and get nearly a week's worth of clothes in this pack. I like to be bale to pick it up and go. I am not a fan of the carry on bags with wheels. I feel they slow me down and they can be a pain getting the bag in the overhead. Like I mentioned, this will fit every overhead bin. It is well built and has everything you need. Easy to carry and has straps to use as a backpack for extended walking. I am normally just carrying it to my next gate at the airport, so I never use the back straps. Those can be neatly stored out of the way.

International Travel Carry-On Friendly & Digital Nomad Friendly
I purchased this bag for international travels it has just the right amount of space for my packing cubes and medium size compression sack, I have a 16 inch Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme laptop and it fits snug into the laptop compartment. You might not fit a laptop sleeve into it with a 16 inch but I don't have a sleeve to be able to confirm that.My opinion on the bag:So far I carried this bag for a trek of about 3 miles for 1 hour and 30 min. of trekking/walking on different occasions with 20 lbs worth of items inside the bag and to be honest it was not very comfortable for long periods of trekking/walking. This bag is comfortable enough for short treks/walks but anything more than 2 hours it will get uncomfortable and sweat is another problem the back does not have any space for air to vent so it will get wet on your back. I would highly recommend a proper trekking/hiking bag for anything over 2+ hours. This bag is truly meant for international carry-on and to get from your destination to your hotel/home/campsite and a good digital nomad type of bag. This is not made for hiking long hours, it will hurt your shoulders and your back will be drenched with sweat in the long run.Small Airlines Issues:Past experience traveling in Asian countries and knowing how smaller airlines that I have come across, this bag will not pass if your packing it full. The asian airlines are strict with the size of the carry-on. Check all airlines first is what I recommend for carry-on size while in Asia. They will make you check this bag in if it is packed full and bulky looking. There is a way to get away using this bag on smaller asian flights. I've heard a few traveler got lucky and was able to get through carry-on. What these long term travelers did is they would leave many of the bulky items at there hotel or hostel where they lived at to do a Visa run. Those who used this bag said they only packed up to 15 liters which is the allowable weight in the smaller airlines and it looked small enough because of the compression strap it was able to pull it tight to make it look small and so it was able to get through carry-on but it won't fit into the overhead bin so you will have to leave it under the seat and it will stick out and your leg will be in between the bag and the neighbors leg next to you and or you will have to rest your leg on top of the bag, no matter what it will be uncomfortable for several hours. They managed with the issue and said they can deal with that inconvenience since it's a short trip. I have not done this before but it sounds good to me to take that chance since 30 liters is the sweet spot for me when I travel international. I hope this info. helps everyone.Trip coming:My next adventure coming will be in Nepal and will be doing the Annapurna circuit trek this fall. I will be using this bag to travel and plan to leave this bag at my hotel/hostel I am staying and I will rent a proper hiking bag and other equipment for the 16 day trek in the Himalayan Mountains after I'm done with the trek I will resume using my Porter bag for regular walks through town and travel through other cities during my visit. I know I can buy another bag for trekking but it will not be worth the money since I don't hike/trek on a daily basis so I will save more if I rent the hiking bag and equipment in Nepal. Anyways it's getting long with this review. If you read this far thanks for reading. This bag will be used for its intended purpose but I will not use it for trekking/hiking.I gave it 5 stars for the carry-on size and it's easy open/close duffle design and for allowing a 16 inch laptop to fit and if your a digital nomad kind of traveler this bag is surely a 5 star bag. However I would give the Porter bag a 3 star if your intended use is for only hiking/trekking for long hours/days with this bag.Make your life worth living by traveling.Happy Travels!

One bag world travel!!!!
I have used this bag for 3 dozen countries over 3 years and it has been amazing. I have 3 packing cubes for clothes, 1 tech pouch, 1 toiletries bag, a pair off flip flops and a microfiber beach towel in the main compartment. I have a packable osprey day pack, osprey packable sling bag, packable windbreaker, packable puffer, hat and gloves in the outer pocket. In the middle, 8 have a lock and cable, along with a plastic bag and a couple of nano bags. Top pocket is another tech pouch that I keep stuff for the plane/train/bus like sleep mask, ear plugs, and a portable charger. This bag has always made it onboard with me! No worries waiting to check it or claim it. Lifetime warranty is incredible and I look forward to trying to wear it out!

Worked great as a carry-on travel bag
I got this so I didn't have to deal with dragging a piece of airline carry-on luggage through the airport. It has so many compartments it's hard to remember where you put everything. Well constructed with durable materials. For a recent trip I was able to pack a whole week of clothes and necessities. I also had two iPads in it. That compartment is large enough for a good sized laptop and one tablet. My only issue is the lack of detail instructions showing how to utilize all of it's versatility and how to find and attach the straps to their correct location. There are videos showing how to pack it but it would have been nice to have some printed instruction too. Especially when connecting the straps and stowing the ones you aren't using for a particular occasion.

A little bit but great overall
Very spacious, fits a camera bag, steam deck, laptop with all chargers. Used as a travel electronics bag and it’s awesome. The straps can be tucked away, converting it to a duffel bag if needed. Overall great bag

A great backpack for a 5"3 girl like me
It's big enough to fit everything I need, it's comfortable and has a ton of features, clips, zippers, pockets, straps, etc. AND it looks great! I'm small but this backpack does not make me look like a turtle. Awesome!

Good for traveling by air in Europe
Spent 3 weeks flying coach in Europe with no checked luggage and just this backpack. Fully loaded it came in at 8kg and met the dimension specs for carry on. Zippers kept working and the various storage compartments were very handy. Stitching is sturdy. It’s easy to carry and works well as a backpack but I never went to far in backpack mode. Recommend.
