Lasts a long time

Body grease shortens the life of the bulb due to its high heat and the added heat of thre oils. Use a Kleenex and a mirror to install it properly. Also, don’t leave it on high gfor long periods of time. Otherwise buy a lot, because you’ll need them.

These G8 Light Bulbs 50W 120V Halogen Light Bulb from AHEVO fits GE Microwave Model JVM3160RF8SS Bulbs are stored indiviually in a plastic holder inside a box, safely secured. Was able to pop one out easily. Took more time to unscrew the panel than it did to replace the bulb. Happy to say I now have my over the stove light working again. One day without it was too long! Can't go wrong with10 bulbs for $9. Hopefully each lasts for two years like the original, if not it's still a low cost fix with spares.

We had great difficulties finding this type of older halogen bulb locally. Every local stores are now selling LED stuff thinking it’s going to save the planet! I prefer to keep an old work office desk lamp away from the dumpster by making the effort to find old style light bulbs. The bulb works simply like it should and gives a warm lighting. For us living up north, even if the bulb creates some heat, it’s not going to be lost in the winter! *ONE IMPORTANT TIP: DONT TOUCH WITH BARE HANDS THE LIGHT BULB WHEN INSTALLING IT. THE NATURAL OIL IN GOUR HANDS WILL SHORTEN THE LIGHT BULB LIFESPAN DRASTICALLY. CLEAN IT WITH SOME RUBBING ALCOHOL IN DOUBT* People forgot about this important step when dealing with older style light bulb.
