Nice magnets. Recommend the 1” width. The sticky adhesive isn’t as effective when trying to stick the tape to wood cabinets, but it did stick well to metal signs.

Purchased it for a friend to hold down a mat outside. I didn't think it would work, but it is holding up great. Only had to cut a small amount for each corner. Great product as far as I'm concerned!

I bought this to adhere to the side of a butcher block table (properly cleaned and de-greased) but the adhesive really wasn't up to the task. Stickiness somewhere between packing tape but not anywhere strong as duct tape. However, the material can be easily and cleanly drilled and the strip (i'd advise two for heavier items) can be screwed to whatever surface that can accept a screw- works like a charm. i do suggest making sure the screw head is below the level of the magnetic strip to avoid scratching the knives.

Contrary to claim, this product is not super sticky. I had to use liquid nail on the adhesive side to keep the magnet attached to my item. The magnet is a regular magnet, not extreme grip that the description implies.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These worked great to attach a motion detected stop sign to metal shelves. I wasn't sure the magnets would be strong enough, but they were. The adhesive on the back is very weak... I bought some thin screen door netting to go over my side door of my school bus RV and bought these with some assistive cabinet handles. My plan was to put both adhesive sides together with the meeting stuck between. Thinking the adhesive strips on both the magnet and the handle would glue together through the thin netting. That way I can just put up the netting whenever I opened the door since the bus is all metal roof and sides... The adhesive won't even stick to other surfaces. Extremely dissatisfied with this product.

Perfect solution to my problem. I needed a way to anchor lightweight centerpieces to metal patio tables for an outdoor wedding reception. Wind might have been a problem, but I attached strips on the bottoms of each arrangement and they really were set well and would have withstood a strong breeze. I bought another brand of this product first at a local hardware. Almost no magnetic strength. But this 3M product was far superior. Pic shows that they actually stick to the face of my dishwasher

Unsure if there are strong enough. Nice size but seem to lack the holding power of attached magnets
