My baby wakes up with a bright red rash on whatever side she was sleeping on. Whatever their cover is made out of (says polyester but who knows what goes into making that) causes a terrible skin reaction that lasts all day! I don't know how they can claim safe and I'm not the only one who this has happened too. The mattress is great but they need a softer less reactive cover :(

My grandson could never get comfortable on it or fall asleep. Total waste of $300. He hates his crib too. He has no trouble breathing through other mattresses. The fear mongering about SIDS and the virality to buy this product just for the baby to ignore it is insane. He is 9 months old now. Purchased this when he was 4 months. My dog uses it way more honestly. Wanted to return but it's too late. Grandson used it more as a playpen than anything.

This mattress is nowhere near as firm as I'd expect for an infant. It's so flimsy you can roll it up like a sleeping bag. Based on the product description I expected it to be dual-sided, with one side to be super firm for an infant and the other side to be somewhat less firm for a toddler, but there is no obvious difference between the two sides of the mattress - they are both very, very, VERY soft. Definitely not what we were expecting, and too soft for us to feel comfortable putting our two-month old to sleep on it.

Newton Baby sent us a box of air filters instead of the baby crib mattress. I suppose it is "breathable" :)

Light weight, breathable, so easy to clean when they get sick! This mattress leaves me the relief of not worrying about my little one in the crib! They are comfortable, with high quality design, no chemical smell, and fits perfectly into our crib! I totally recommend this for parents!

This mattress is made 80% out of Rayon. Just look it up and make your own judgment. I didn't know, otherwise wouldn't have bought it. I just got it and already regret it. It smells pretty strong even after full day outside without the cover. When you put the core into your face and try to breath through it is fully breathable but it smells and feels super unpleasant in your mouth/nose. When this entire thing is all breathable that means my child will breath all the chemicals coming out of this product. With the waterproof covers I spent almost 400 dollars on this, big mistake. I will call their customer service and see what they have to say. On the other hand, the mattress feels appropriately firm and comfortable and their claim of breathability is 100% legit but again the questionable toxicity and the unpleasant smell is the biggest problem with this product.

Mattress is decent but not worth it if using a protector since that would defeat the purpose of a breathable mattress

It’s definitely soft and comfortable but I must say it’s almost too breathable. We had to lay a blanket under the mattress because baby was getting cold at night
