A piece of junk. !!!!!!!!!!!
This product is a joke. I can't imagine making a fire in this flimsy charcoal grill. It took quite a while to put it together only to find there was also a nut missing. Had to take it all apart to return it. A piece of crap if you ask me.

The sturdiness
Was made of weak metal. The holder for the grill broke the first time i put a chicken breast on it.

Garbage. Not worth a dime.
The only reason I even purchased this want to be grill, was to take a trip down memory lane. In the late 80's, back when I was still in HS., my cousin and I would pick up these hibachi style grills at a local supermarket for $5.00 and we would have a ball grilling on a slab of property behind his apt. complex. They were cheap, easy to assemble and they actually worked great. This thing is a gag gift you give to someone you don't like very much. I find it very interesting that I can blunder my way through putting a Char-Griller 50,000, 3 burner propane grill with a side burner together, but can't get this together because it won't let me.The bottom ash catcher that holds the legs wont slide into the slots unless you beat the heck out of it, and the two slotted grill rack holders that allow for height adjustment of the grill racks are situated to where they make the handled grills sit on a 45 degree angle. There is only one way to put them on, so it's not my lack of assembly skills. The edges of the corners are as sharp as a razor and the charcoal base and ash catcher have reduced in capacity and are terribly shallow. Never bothered to try and use it, and I didn't even bother to send it back. Just tossed it in the trash and they picked it up the following day. It's garbage. Just get yourself a cheap kettle style grill at the dollar store. They actually work really well. So much for revisiting the past. I guess some things are better off left there.

Good for what it is
Needed something small since don't have place for big grill right now. It's perfect for my needs.

No instructions
I just got my hibachi and put it together. Only instructions i got was a picture on the box which left a lot to be desired. YouTube had a similar one that gave me an idea as how to assemble. One nut was missing that goes on the leg attachment. It is a nice size for one person which is what i need.

It's very nice except for the handles
It's very nice except for the handles. The part of the handle that clips onto the grills is wobbly and my husband has tightened it over and over to no avail. We do not submerge the grills in water (we season the cast iron), and despite oiling the wood handles with lemon oil, one cracked right down the center. My husband ordered replacement handles, those spiral type, and will affix them to the grills.
