8th year of use and going strong! Obsessed!
I should have written this review a long time ago. Upside is, we can vouch for the longevity of these lights! I bought them in 2017 and we’ve used them every winter since then. We usually have them out for 2 months straight each season. Some how they even survived two intense ice storms where heavy branches dropped all over the yard and the lights. These might feel like normal lights in terms of thickness of wires, the bulb might seem not as big as one expects. But don’t be fooled, they’re so bright and when you zig zag them as directed, they give this magical twinkling that our entire neighborhood has fallen in love with. Multiple other neighbors have since bought these. I finally caved and bought more to light up the small side of our yard that we usually don’t decorate. As long as you take care of your lights, these will last you for years!

AWESOME New Lights!!!
These lights are literally the "talk of the town." I live on a street where people decorate outside - TONS of decorations. In fact, there is a HUGE lighted sign at the north end of our street that says "This way to Clark Griswold's House." His decorations are fabulous (he decorates front and back yard, house, and about 25 trees that are at least 35-40 ft. tall), and his lights draw hundreds and hundreds of people every year (and his house is 2 houses away from mine, across the street). Sometimes, it takes me 10-15 minutes to get into my driveway when I get home from work. (I'm not complaining - I'm glad people enjoy it!!)So, this is my 2nd Christmas in the neighborhood, and I wanted to do something different. I saw these lights and HAD to try them, because I had never seen anything like them, ANYWHERE, before. I wanted the multi-colored strand, but they were sold out, so I bought a strand of each color and a white strand. They look unbelieveable: REALLY!!! I don't have a ton of lights at my house, so that makes the lawn lights look even more dramatic. I've had dozens of people ask me about them...and even "Clark Griswold" - my neighbor, had to come over and ask me about them: I was SO PROUD!!! They really are amazingly fantastic! So if you're looking for something different, try these out: you won't be sorry. One thing, though, it took me much longer than 15-30 minutes per strand to put out (it took me about and hour - but it was absolutely worth it). I'm not complaining, at all, but just thought it was fair to let the future buyers know that if they are looking for something super-duper quick, maybe these aren't for you.One more thing, I was worried about what they would look like during the day, but you REALLY can't see them unless you are right at the edge of the yard: they blend in extremely well with the grass (I live in IL, and we haven't had snow this year...yet). I can't wait to see what they look like when we get a little snow!Synopsis: Easy, yes; quick, not really; gorgeous and unique, absolutely! And it beats having to get up on the ladder and crawl around on the roof!! A definite MUST HAVE!! If I had more yard, I would get more...hmmm...maybe I will decorate the side yard next year.... :-) Happy Holidays!P.S. To the folks who make these lights: I would buy them in more colors if available like purple, yellow, pink, etc. GREAT PRODUCT!! Thanks!

These lights are my new favorite Christmas decoration.
I ordered just one set a of these lights two years ago, and placed them on the bank of a hill in a wooded corner lot. This was a good location for them, because there is no foot traffic on the hillside and because the lights would be visible from the road. My husband and I rolled them out in a random pattern in about a half hour. (We could have done it in less time if we had been on flat ground.) We did not use the included stakes; instead we just let the lights lie on the ground or on the vegetation--wherever the wire landed as we unrolled it. These are LEDs and do not use much electricity, so we left them on most of the time. During the day, they are not noticeable, but as the sun goes down, they glow beautifully. We chose the morphing lights which change colors, slowly fading from one color to another. At any given time, the lights are different colors. That is, they do not all shine the same color at the same time. They remain an assortment of colors, even as the colors are changing. They are not at all flashy or gaudy. They are peaceful, serene, and pleasant to watch. Last year, I ordered a second set to extend the display farther along the road. Neighbors have told us how very much they enjoy these lights. They are pretty and unusual. Because this past winter was so cold and snowy, we were unable to take up the lights until March. So they were outdoors, under snow, during an extended sub-zero winter for almost 3 months! When we finally took them up, we tested them and found that the first strand that we purchased was still working. The wire on the newer strand had been broken in one area--probably by a passing deer. The internet has directions for making a repair when this happens, so we will splice the wire at the break, and they will be good to go again next Christmas. I will be ordering a third set for next year because we like them so well.

Not as many lights as expected but works
I thought there would be more lights on the strand or should I say closer together. I put them in my lawn about 2 weeks ago and the stands are holding up so far I like the multicolored lights on the lawn. I'm really hoping once we get some snow that it'll look even better with the halo of light. They've made it through some decent rain so far so it seems to be made well.
