Dementia Myth: Most Patients With Dementia Are Curable

This is a very good book by Vernon Coleman, a good old fashioned doctor of yesteryear who listened to patients and helped with common sense ways to solve health problems, as well as using modern medicine where appropriate.

Don't assume that dementia is always Alzheimer's is the core message. There may be other treatable causes in some cases. An easy and worthwhile read for everyone.

One can't go wrong reading any of the authors book , they are cheap , short and especially to the point , an easy read and interesting and scary in places. This book is no exception to the latter . The core message of this book is that all cases of dementia should not be automatically classified as Alzheimer's disease as is generally the case in this day and age in hospitals. Effects of prescription drugs , vitamin B12 deficiency and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus should all be investigated first prior to diagnosis. Discussed in finer from beginning to end of book are the following . The demensia scam ( who's making the money ) , critical doctors are being silenced , how charities are controlled and by who , medical journals and their true purpose , a chapter of deep discussion on each of the three other potential possibilities , some case histories and lots more.

Excellent, witty, intelligent and honest. He does repeat himself a small bit but I guess the truth needs to be repeated constantly in order to counter the main stream lies.

Its a very informative book we all need to read. We are now all aware of the corruption in our health system now after the last 2 years. This again tells us to trust no one and question everything with reference the medical professionals. This is a disease we accepted without question but thanks to Dr Coleman, not anymore. He opened my eyes to a potential way forward. Amazing man simply amazing. The only question I have is who and where do families go to get the tests and true diagnosis of this illness. My mother has just recently had the dementia diagnosis. I have started our journey looking for help. I started with mums doctor. Guess what no help. I want a second a third maybe a fourth opinion. Were do I go, who do I contact? NHS or Private I dont care. We need help now as time is not on mums side. Please share any of your success stories please
