People can’t math
I want to put this out there to correct other reviewers. All recovery powders are in the same caloric range (200-250 per serving) with the same ratio of carbs and protein (2:1). There is science to this; various companies aren’t making up formulations. It’s more expensive because it is highly soluble, and this quality is rare in recovery drinks. Resulting drink is no thicker than Gatorade. I’m happy to pay for this more palatable consistency. If consistency is not important for you, get 40% cheaper powder from other brandsPS if you are so worried about calories and are a small person, take half the serving. Take 2/3. Two scoops is a suggested size for an average man. Literally, no one is policing youPPS it does taste good

Love it!
I love this recovery powder; it really works after high intensity training, long runs. It's NOT cheap at all, but I like it

Good quality product that does what it claims.
The flavour is good, a little thick which makes it a “gradual consume”. The product does provide a good lift to energy levels and stops the dip I usually suffer; during these locked down times it sets me up for working after a 6am session.

Tastes great
Tastes really nice, something different from the usual chocolate etc. The thickness is watery which I prefer because it's not as heavy on the stomach. I think it's a bit pricey but if it brings results I'd be happy to pay extra for good quality recovery powder. The only real downside so far is after it's been shaken you get a lot of foam on top so might be worth using something like a milk frother

Absolutely highly recommend this product. The only drawback is I cannot find the scoop! The taste is super smooth, love it!!

Good recovery drink
Not the cheapest but I find it does work for me. As a cyclist, one of these straight after a hard ride appears to help me recover better. Seems to be much less DOMS.

Not great
I’ve tried many bulking and protein powders over the years but I won’t be buying this again. It gave me stomach cramps and acid reflux. Expensive too.

We haven't noticed a huge change
I got this for my husband who has started running again during lockdown to help his fitness and mental health. We wanted to be thorough so have given it a few weeks before reviewing. So far he's not noticed a massive improvement in the muscle aches after his run, there is some small improvement but nothing overly amazing and he is still having some soreness the day after. He has noticed that he isn't dehydrated after which is good, so no muscle cramping but the general ache is still there the day after. The taste isnt too appealing but that will be personal preference so I haven't reduced any stars for that.Genuinely my biggest issue with this would be the price, whilst you get a very big tub it is also quite pricey (as I write this it is £44.99 RRP). Honestly, I think it would put me off slightly. Though I do understand this is a premium product so the price reflects that. Luckily my husband only runs 3x a week so I think this will last a while, if you do more exercise though you may run out quick so this could be an expensive after work out drink.A free shaker bottle on purchase may have been a nice touch as this was something we had to get seperately, or some kind of free ebook with a guide for optimal usage instructions, if you're a novice you usually have a lot of questions! I think it would have made the price tag more understandable, as well as been a nice touch from a customer perspective to feel buying this was a package, everything you need and tips for how to get the best out of it. Something maybe the seller could note? The customer service were fantastic and quick to respond with our questions, so if you do need help they are there with thorough and speedy advice. Very friendly and knowledgeable.Over all we aren't sure if this is helping or not! Given more time we may notice more changes, but I think 3* is fair given we are 50/50 on how much this is helping. If things change I may up to 4* but the price definitely loses it a star no matter what. It's just too expensive for people like us with kids and not a huge income, not bank balance friendly for me!
