This works very well, ive had no issues at all!Remember, used for the first time, it does make a few noises, this is normal as it expands with heat for the first time. I've had no issues with it. Powerful and perfect fitting.

I was really anxious about using one of these because I've heard many horror stories, but i couldn't be happier with it.There are a few things you need to bear in mind if you are going to use one.1. Use a thermostat - plug your lamp into it, put the temperature probe into the enclosure and set temperature. It will turn the lamp on and off at the temperature you set it to and keep it in a reasonable temp range. No frozen spider, No cooked spider.2. Use a ceramic lamp holder that's good for your wattage of lamp. so it doesn't melt your fitting. No burny burny3. Keep it a sensible distance away from your enclosure and other surfaces, no burn burn4. Bear in mind that the lamp itself gets hot as hell and if you touch it it's going to suck. don't let the kids touch it or the cat jump into it, if it's on the inside of the enclosure make sure your little friend can't touch it5. This is the 50w version, i can't speak for the other lamps6. It crackles and smells a little for about 5 minutes the first use, that's fine7. Use a separate independent thermometer to make sure the stat is working properly; i can see mine is keeping the enclosure a toasty 20-22 degreesI bought this because my room is very cold, too cold for the tarantula, but they don't like bright light (they can't see red light, which i am using) so a classic heat lamp i wasn't keen on. Tarantulas don't typically need extra heat if your house is warm.Take my info as non expert advice, just sharing my experience with the product for anyone else who is thinking of using one

Works well. Heats my rural timber built studio. Removes humidity and frostI leave it on timer. Comes on over night. Knocks off around nine amStill need additional heating but takes the sting out of the air. Prevents studio from becoming damp or freezing cold.

Very good for my bearded dragons tank as long as you follow instructions and make sure your pet can’t burn itself so plenty of distance away from anything that can burn, use a ceramic light fitting as they get very hot,

Dopo aver cercato delle lampade riscaldanti sui vari siti appositi che si occupano di rettili e animali esotici ho trovato qui su amazon questa lampada ad un prezzo ottimo e con una buona scelta tra i watt disponibili... La lampada funziona benissimo e scalda il terrario alla perfezione e i miei draghi barbuti sembrano apprezzare molto il modo in cui scalda tutto il terrario non solo sotto lo spot di calore

Per una baby pogona. Ho scelto la lampada nera perché già c'è una lampada UV che fa una forte illuminazione, se ci aggiungevo una lampada riscaldante illuminante diventava un terrario accecante.🦎 La lampada è economica ma è funzionante, ormai l'ho testata per un mese e funziona senza problemi. Riesce a mantenere una temperatura di 30 gradi nel terrario con 20 gradi in casa. Rende un po' meno rispetto a una lampada a illuminazione, questo è da valutare anche per i consumi. All'inizio appena accesa fa un po' di rumore, ma poi nulla, spero che duri a lungo.⚠️ Consiglio un portalampade ceramico da utilizzare per questa lampada.Alla distanza di 25 cm fa un calore equilibrato per la pelle e per il bagno di calore dei comuni sauri da terrario. Per ora consigliata. 👍
