Ballistix Crucial 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Laptop Gaming Memory Kit 16GB (8GBx2) CL16 BL2K8G26C16S4B

Got this ram at an discount. I upgraded my laptop 8gb Ram to 32GB and it works great except for the minor kink that the total RAM runs at 2667Mhz. Unfortunately my Laptop doesn't support XMP settings but I am happy with the current performance.

It was good

The Memory sticks arrived early and the packaging was adequate. I have used these in my Acer Predator Helios 300 2019 version. I removed the factory installed one and used both these sticks. So now my laptop has 32 GB of RAM :) Although it is 2666MHz RAM, my laptop uses it as a 2400 MHz one. But it's not a deal breaker... At least the entire RAM is able to get utilised by the PC. I ran some benchmarks to confirm that it can be completely utilised. My BIOS settings doesn't give me any settings to change the XMP profile or any memory settings, so I am unable to make sure the RAM runs at 2666MHz. However these are great for the price (rs 9150) and I am happy with it so far

This RAM can be overclocked as written in specs. I have observed that this RAM manages resources and data usage very efficiently. My system doesn't support XMP profile so it runs at default JEDEC profile i.e, 2400MHz. During video rendering and computational tasks it has performed very good. When I was using Hynix RAM that was default with my system then applications were using very good amount of RAM but after installing this I have seen this difference.

The RAM I bought is 2666MHz but runs at 2400MHz. Still, it is running good while gaming, working on my 3d applications and so on. So it doesn't matter for me whatever frequency it's running, but I'm slightly disappointed that it can't run at 2666MHz. Anyways, I'm glad that it's working fine.

Awesome quality

My system got upgraded from 8gigs to 32gigs and I am flying and OS is buttery smooth, MRP on the package is rs.17,700 and got imported on July 2020 I bought on sept 2020. So kudos to that ...packing was very bad there was no hard box or anything only the plastic casing on the ram... Felt bad to get a 11k worth product like that. Good upgrade at reasonable price when compared with buying a laptop from store with 32gigs ram.

I am very happy with this deal, because I got this RAM kit(16GB×2) @₹8699/- only. But all my happiness is gone when I install this kit in my laptop(Asus tuf FX505GD) because this brand doesn't write the actual specification of this RAM module. This RAM is sold by claiming 2666mHz & CAS#Latency 16 but this claimed frequency is only achieved by XMP profile and at JEDEC profile it's frequency is locked @2400mHz. In my case the BIOS of my laptop doesn't support to Overclock(XMP enable), so my laptop is stuck @2400mHz&CAS#Latency 16. My system is running normal in normal useses but while playing games or graphics related work on my lappy I feel some lag in FPS . In my opinion this RAM kit is awesome, if your laptop's motherboard support the XMP profile or manual override , but most of the motherboard doesn't allow overclocking in laptop except some high-end laptop or MAC book. *Note:* chek your BIOS before purchase this RAM kit. (If your BIOS allow XMP profile for Intel or DOCP for AMD then buy it without any doubt.)

Works great if you have an Intel-based laptop. Not for AMD though. This kit has an XMP RAM speed profile that will allow it to work at 3200 Mhz. Otherwise, it will downclock and run at 2666 Mhz for AMD platforms.

بس الصراحه انصحكم فيه كانت فريماتي 90 فريم في فايف ام تقرييا الرام عندي ضعيف 8 رام المهم رحت جربت فايف ام و صارت الفريمات عندي 150 و 170 فريم جهازي AN515 اسير

Creo que es muy buen producto pero para sacarle todo el provecho debes tener un perfil XMP 2.0 en tu BIOS sino ni lo compres. La descripción dice que corren 3200 Mhz y 16 cl; pero si no tienes XMP 2.0 corren a 2600Mhz 20 cl. Ojo si tienes procesador AMD o BIOS con perfil JEDEC no las compres.

With latest BIOS 1.4.0 the Laptop recognize correctly the DRAM and Set Clock Speed at 3200. Before was needed to use XMP Profile settings in the Bios. Intensive tests and benchmark for 1 month. Top performance and no issues from Games to Adobe apps. A huge difference compared to the 16GB kit that Alienware delivered with the Laptop. 64GB is sometime "overkilling" but with with Adobe Premiere, AE and Photoshop this extra RAM will boost all the task without access to SSD.

Appena arrivate ho subito montato le RAM, DDR4 - 2666 cl16, che sono state prontamente riconosciute dal Sistema (nel mio caso un ASUS Vivobook Pro N580GD), ovviamente al primo avvio il BIOS ha dovuto ragionare qualche secondo. Sottoposte a vari stress test, al Gaming e, infine, ad editing su Camera Raw di 296 foto in una sola volta, il PC si è comportato benissimo. Il miglioramento è evidente anche perchè venivo da 8gb ddr4-2400 cl19, e avendo preso il bundle da 2x 8gb ora lavoro anche in dual-channel. Nel mio caso specifico non sono riuscito a sfruttare il profilo XMP 2666mhz, pertanto sto lavorando al momento con il profilo XMP a 2400 mhz. Pagate 75 euro, il rapporto qualità prezzo si attesta sul buono. Una decina di euro in meno penso sia un prezzo più corretto. Aggiornerò la recensione qualora ci dovessero essere novità.
