A great option if you don't want or need games, sounds, or texting features.
Got this as a "step watch" for our 7yo, who has been curious to see how much he moves a day. I like that this is a game-free option and a noise-free option, so he can wear it at school without risking the teachers asking him to leave it at home, or without it distracting his classmates. The little plastic "ring" that keeps the end of the strap down broke off after a few weeks of wear, and though I haven't looked for replacement options or another solution, the fact it's gone doesn't seem to bother the 7yo much. It has gotten wet (shower or bath), and still works fine—but the 7yo is VERY careful not to wear it for long in the tub or shower, and takes it off when swimming. Charges pretty quickly, but is sometimes a little hard to position just right so it does actually charge. As for the app, so far I haven't had any issues syncing his activity to it—though as soon as you do sync it seems to reset the step count regardless of what time of day it is.

My kids love this tracker and that's what matters! Bonus for excellent customer service!
We purchased a couple of these for my kids last month after having heard them talk about their friends' fitness trackers, though we definitely didn't want to spend Fitbit-level prices if they ended up wearing them for a week and then magically getting bored with them and forgetting to put them on after that. When I found the BIGGERFIVE Vigor, it really seemed to fit the bill for what we wanted - visually fun for the kids, step counter, heart rate monitor, etc. - and at an absolutely perfect price point. It's worked fantastically at motivating both kids to stay active, even going out for walks in the morning to get a jump on their step count for the day. The mobile app isn't anything flashy, but honestly, it really doesn't need to be and it gives all the info my kids want to see - battery life, daily step count history, etc. Charging is so easy with these trackers that both my kids have no problem with it and have never suffered from an unexpectedly dead battery. Just gets removed from the band (which, admittedly, takes a bit of work to do at first, but gets easier over time and with more practice) and one end of the tracker has a USB plug that can be plugged into any USB port for charging - my kids use the USB port on the backs of their alarm clocks. I can't speak to the battery life because my kids have been so good at keeping them charged up, but IIRC, my son's had gotten down to maybe 20% at one point after 5-6 days of no charge, so that should give you some idea as to the battery life - you should be able to get close to a week's use on a full charge with normal kid-related activity. Now, my son being the daredevil that he is, had a bit of a spill last week and unfortunately scuffed up the display and scraped the plastic edges of the tracker pretty good. He was pretty upset because he loves this tracker, so I thought I'd contact support on the off-chance something like this might be covered under warranty (I work in tech support, so I know certain bits of inflicted damage can be hit or miss when it comes to warranty claims), fully expecting to be told that it wasn't covered and I would just bite the bullet and purchase a new tracker for my son. Imagine my surprise when support got back to me very quickly and asked for some photos of the damage to check, order number from Amazon, etc. - I reiterated to them that I would totally understand if it wasn't eligible for a warranty claim - and they got back to me quickly again asking for my shipping address to send a new tracker. This is the kind of customer support I absolutely love and makes me confident that my decision to get these trackers for my kids was the right one. UPDATE 9/11/21: So last week on my daughter's tracker, the display started glitching out - dim with digital distortion. Powercycled it and it came back briefly, then failed out again. Given my previous interaction with customer support for BiggerFive, I had confidence that we'd be able to get it replaced within warranty. Sent them an email describing the issue, troubleshooting steps taken to resolve, images of the faulty display and also a screencap of the original Amazon order. Within the next day, they let me know that they could have a replacement out ASAP, fulfilled by Amazon. Got the replacement within mere days of my original interaction and my daughter is pleased as punch. Great to see customer service that stands behind their product not just once, but twice with us. My kids appreciate it!

Great for kids, excellent customer service
The watch works as described, and fits a 5 year old's arm with room to grow into. The watch functions well, but does require downloading the app to your phone and connecting (binding) to set up; once initial setup is complete you can unbind if desired. The watch charges via USB port (charger not included) that is hidden inside the arm band; you pull the band off the watch face to reveal a usb. I have not yet determined a battery use indicator to know how much charge remains without inserting into a usb port. Charging is relatively fast, and appears to last several days. The primary reason for purchase was a step counter, to mimic mom's branded smart watch; this watch fulfills that goal at a good price point. Shortly after purchase, the watch was being worn when my son fell and accidentally broke the plastic connection of the clock face, which fits into the arm band, leaving the watch operable but unable to be worn; that plastic piece is required to snap into the band for wear. I contacted the company regarding the warranty, and they were phenomenally responsive with a fast and straightforward replacement. This is a decent watch, especially for kids, at an accessable price point. I'm unsure of the accuracy of the tracker, but it does keep time and provides a glimpse into daily activity (which elates my son).

A lot of things don't work well
Dislikes: - The app is pretty terrible. It doesn't seem to store/save data and my son has had to restart it no exaggeration every single time we want to look at updated data. It got worse and worse over time. It wasn't like that in the beginning. - Doesn't seem to track sleep. Again, it may be the app, or the watch, but it doesn't always collect the sleep data even though my son has it pretty snug on his wrist. - The watch will just turn itself off, even if there's still 20% battery charge left. It will take a while to get it to turn back on. This was also something recent, it wasn't like that in the beginning. - Step counter is actually significantly off. Most step counters are off, but just be aware that this one doesn't count nearly as many steps as what was actually taken, even when being cognizant of arm swinging in order to get it to track better. - Battery life is pretty short, lasts only about 3 days. - Now that we're a couple months into the product, even though it's clearly defective or bad quality, they won't allow a return or exchange for what would hopefully be a non defective watch. Likes: - Seemed to have potential - The app UI and UX was pretty fine visually speaking, just wish the app wasn't so buggy to the point of being literally useless.

Ok watch. Good customer service
My 3 kids had the BIGGERFIVE IP 67 model watches for over half a year. After seeing other friends' Fit Bit or Apple Watches they wanted more, so we ordered these. Here's our thoughts... Positives - The kids like this face and features better. - They like that it has more sport options, like biking. - It appears to be slightly more accurate about sleep tracking and step tracking. -The customer services is GREAT! One stopped working and they responded very quickly when I contacted them. -We find the alarm function very helpful. Negatives -It does not hold its charge nearly as well as the lower tech model. It needs to be charged every two days. -Of the two we bought, one keeps the time while charging, one does not. -Sometimes the watch does not easily sync with the app. You must sync it with the app to set its time. Pretty much, you get what you pay for- a cheaper activity tracker watch. Also, you should know the Very Fit Pro app can only have one watch connected to it at a time. We ended up having to connect our kids' 3 watches each to a different device because they wanted the app to keep their records. If you unbind one watch to bind another you will loose all the data.

Great watch for kids
Watch was for my daughter, Bluetooth only which is what I wanted. No phone, or text. Watch with app to add alarms or reminders.

Kid-friendly perfection.
My eight-year-old, when he was still six, wanted a watch on his wrist just like mine. Well, I wasn't going to get him the Apple Watch of his dreams, but a kid's Timex fit the bill. It was a bit confusing - the buttons were so easy to press, it would regularly transition from 12h to 24h mode, or he'd activate the alarm, and he wouldn't know how to reverse it. Eventually, its battery died. Rather than replace the battery, I decided it was time to upgrade his watch. Now, he LOVES his Fitness Tracker Watch by Biggerfive! He rarely takes it off, except to recharge every few days. The only catch - unlike too many buttons on his last watch, this one only has one button to rotate through the options... but no means to set anything manually. It's 100% Bluetooth set from an app you download to either your smartphone or tablet. When he's gone for days, if he forgets to charge his watch, he needs to first recharge it, then return it to my phone in order to reset the time and interface as he prefers it (it defaults back to a blank slate with the incorrect time, date, everything). When on sale, this watch is under $25 and that is the perfect price point for me. If he loses it, damages it, etc... it isn't breaking my bank to replace it. But just like his Timex watch, he's already taking tremendous care of this watch as if it's his own personal Apple Watch.

Poor quality band
Watch works great but we’ve had it for two months and all the rubber plastic components have already torn off so the band cannot be fastened anymore.
