Is this shirt super soft & true to size?

Very soft and true to size. Seems vintage. Bought as a gift and person loves it. Been washed and dried a lot (delicate - low heat), did not shrink, looks the same as the day I bought it.

Is this a slim fit tee?

It's a standard fitting, all-cotton tee. I got the XL and it's def not slim fitting.
