Disappointing
The instructions were so bad I just used the picture to put it together. The flooring pieces they sent me did not allow me to put it in the way they had shown in the picture and use the little ramps. No clips were shown in the instructions and the picture on Amazon indicated that no clips were used to hold the middle piece into place yet that’s what I was given and the clips don’t seem to want to work. I contacted the seller and they refused to acknowledge the mistakes. As cute as the product is I would not recommend it nor will I be buying from them again.

Litterally it feels like those plates that people buy for children to eat ...
I would've gave this product 3 stars but i gave them 4 stars. It would actually have 5 stars just for these reasons:3 stars for not having the manual and only a black and white photo of cage put together. The red platforms are really flimsy and cheaply made. Litterally it feels like those plates that people buy for children to eat food in and plastic-y.Secondly, the tiny house did not have any support at all on its own. I needed to reinforce the house with hot glue in order to keep it stable and not to create creases. Furthermore the houses prefferated outline of the door and window is so sharp, that when you punch out the outline, there are still some sharp plastics left that can potentially harm the hamster or small animal.(Not that im saying that my hamster is too heavy or like king kong to live in there. She's a syrian fancy bear hamster fyi.)The hamster wheel is too small, especially for my type of hamster. I literally had to scour the internet to find a wheel proper for her to run in. To add, if you have a small hamster and they use the wheel, it will make a lot of noise with the wheel as it squeaks alot when in use.Despite all of these issues, I'm not an expert in assembling things, but it was extremely easy to assemble. It took me 20 minutes to assemble the cage and I know for sure that my "King Kong" inside likes the cage because she isn't chewing on the metal bars like the other ones I bought at the pet stores. Maybe other users might find it difficult to assemble, but i did not find it hard to assemble but hey we are all different. Finally its a good size cage, especially for the price and the type of hamster I have. If you are looking for a big cage for a syrian this is perfect.(minus the wheel.)If you find this review difficult to understand, trust me, then the assembly will be hard for you too.

Not for small mice, bigger rodents ok
Took a bit to figure out why the connectors were plastic and chewable, but they worked and even if my fingertips were a touch sore from trying to clip the corners, it worked. It is odd though that the cage itself doesn't just clip into the base. Everything clicks together, but also clicks out of place quickly. Even built, the tunnels could be knocked apart if handled too rough so maybe not elbow level around little kids. I didn't trust the handle at all since the base is very loosely connected and the clips for the sides did not latch at all.Mice liked the wheel and tunnels. The bottle was a touch small but we had a nicer one we ordered that stays attached and we can just fill from the top outside the cage. House was okay for our mice, but a larger hamster I could see being crowded. The food bowl was good, but they could move it and knock it around easily.Until the mice were comfortable and started exploring, this worked okay for them even with those issues. Once they were used to the new cage though.... started sleeping in the tunnels and using the cage as a play area. Our bigger male mouse kept finding a way out so we tried several times to see where he was getting out but no avail. We thought we had finally figured it out with the door clamp holding two bars apart... but wasnt it.One day I came home and both were out. I opened the cage, both were out again. This time one of our bigger animals found them so now we have nothing to put in the cage lolKeeping it in case the youngest wants to try a hamster or if we go back to rats. But was really bummed that we spent this much on something that says mice and they were able to escape easily

Not awful
Not a bad cage, but it is not friendly to clean and wish it had a pull out tray for the poop.. but little one loves running around the tubes. Would not recommend moving it from the top handle as there is only two plastic clips that holds it to the bottom….

good
The media could not be loaded. My hamster loves it and she has a lot more room to run around than she did in the old wire cage. Also the hamster tubes also have more space in them for her than the bumpy ones I had (I still used those tunnels tho so I could connect the 2 cages) and I guess the only bad stuff is that the hamster wheel is way too small if you have a big hamster but I already had a big wheel for her so that didn't really matter and other bad thing I guess is the little hide house, it's just too small lol and I know that she's gonna chew it apart anyways but again I already have other hides for her that she likes so it was fine. And last thing is that it was a little annoying to put together even tho it was easy and I did figure it out lol but it was just a little frustrating. Anyways she loves it and has so much space now for exercise lol
