Perfect Sharpener for my new colored pencils.

Alright I ain’t Jeremiah Johnson
I bought this quite a while back and forgot I had it. Like a lot of you, and you know who you are, I went all Dave Canterbury/ Cody Lundine for a while.I was gonna be just fine in the wild with just my trusty knife and a wool blanket. That’s cool. It’s fun to gear up. And I do practice my bushcraft skills when I’m out there. So this little guy is a good idea. Weighs nothing in your pack, shaves tinder like a razor and hell you can shave IT for tinder! But the fact is, I have carried a Zippo everyday for 40 years. I have about 13 gazillion baby bics in my packs. I have 22 different ferro rods tucked all over the place. And one day my son was looking for a pencil sharpener. So now this guy wound up in the drawer with all the pencils, tape and scissors. And that’s ok too. I still have my trusty Zippo.I would still recommend. Nice pencil sharpener. Thanks for reading

Good budget sharpener
I use this for my colored pencils; for the money it's a pretty good little sharpener. It has extra blades attached with a mini screw on the side. I did have to cover the extra blades with some tape because if you aren't careful how you hold the sharpener, you can catch your thumb on them. It sharpens well, and to a good point, and rarely do my points break after sharpening. My only wish is that you got a longer tapered point. It has a nice heavy feel to it, and I would recommend it as a good inexpensive sharpener for colored pencils.

This thing is super sturdy, I feel like it could withstand being ran over! It says Made in Germany on the blade (and the replacement blade that is included on the side) and on the sharpener itself, it says Magnesium. The though process when designing this took note of the little things it shows: Free replacement blade screwed in the side for safety and a hole at the opposite end of the sharpening opening (presumably for allowing the point to poke through as you are sharpening so you don't break it off - SMART).I will say this though - As awesome and pretty as this sharpener is, I probably would not let kids use it or at least modify so the blade won't cut them (or remove it altogether). The extra blade is held in by a single screw (second picture) and there is a chance you could nick yourself on it where it is positioned (though you could probably unscrew and flip it over so the blade is on the edge of the crevice - look at the last picture to see the gap on the side of the grips.)

Everyone Needs this.
So, you know how some pencils, especially colored pencils, someone drops and then every time you sharpen it the lead piece falls out? I sure do. This pencil sharpener keeps that from happening! Or at least it happens then to 100 times less frequently. I had some colored pencils that must have gotten dropped when I wasn't looking because the orange, red, and pink I had the lead drop out every time I sharpened it, so I had to sharpen it the tiniest little bit, keeping it very dull, which at that point it's almost pointless to be coloring or drawing anyway. Then I switched to this pencil sharpener at they are so wonderfully sharp and I haven't lost a single other lead. I have no idea what ze Germans did to achieve this perfection, but I seriously cannot recommend this sharpener enough. I give it 7 stars out of 5.

The best of the best
This is the best pencil sharpener I have ever owned. I use mine for my Prismacolors, and I've tried a lot of other sharpeners, and this one blows all of the others out of the park! It sharpens quickly to a beautiful, strong point, and even comes with some extra blades! And, to top it all off, it came within just a few days of ordering it, plus you can't beat the price for such a quality item! My search for a sharpener that actually works is over, I will not buy any other sharpener!

Great
This is a great sharpener. I use it for my color pencils and it doesn't break off as easily. I highly recommend this product especially if you use prismacolor pencil. The only con is that it doesn't have a handle it easily grip it. But the pro outweigh the cons.

Wrong Product But OK (Edited)
I was sent the two hole sharpener instead (the wedge), not what I ordered or wanted but honestly the difference in size won't matter a ton. I can just take the blade off the other side to compensate for the extra blade on this product since Ill never use the larger hole. Looks like a decent sharpener and did ok on my staedtler pencils which are intended to last longer than standard pencils. left a noticeable line where the cut stopped. It's a sharpener, it sharpens. If it had been what I actually ordered I would of given 5 stars. Accidents happen, and it's not a huge deal.Edit: I was contacted and sent the correct product at no charge. The correct product works beautifully.
