Easy installation. Quality parts. Better air flow over stock.

Just installed my new Mishimoto CAI. First off, there were no instructions included, you have to go to YouTube and watch their video which the guy ROCKETS through the install and the video doesn't really detail the steps. Second, you have to Re-use the OEM plastic mounting bracket and Inlet piece from your stock air box. For nearly $400, those seem like simple parts to include or come pre-assembled to the Mishimoto air box. Third, the Mishimoto air box doesn't have a place to clip the OEM Harness to the side like the factory box. Next, all the hardware are different size nuts and bolts! Couldn't use the factory bracket which would've been nice not to have to take another factory part off my car. All in all, I was pretty disappointed in the quality and difficulty of installation for the Price! Installation took about an hour+ and LOTS of tools! The look of the new system isn't much different than what the factory look was! Maybe a plexi-glass window in that metal panel would be nice or something! With the Make and model of my car, my choices were very limited. I hope the performance gains are worth it!
