Nice bike so far. Just received 9/9/20.
Initial review. I recieved it weeks ahead of schedule. Box was severely damaged and the metal crate inside but the bike was untouched. First impressions are that this is a nice machine. Took about an hour relaxed to assemble. Changed oil and added fuel. Started first crank no choke. It is electric and kick start, comes with battery. I didn't see that listed. Rides great, shifts great, stops great. It really feels like a japanese bike. Exhaust sounds great. The carb is ok and does let the motor open up pretty well but on a snap it bogs and will stall unless you roll on the throttle smoothly. It's not adjustable in any way. The air/fuel adjustment is a screw with no head, the idle is plugged and may be possible if you removed the cover/plug. The needle is non adjustable and has only one clip position. Even the bowl screws are aircraft bolts with no head. I'm going to install a mikuni knock off and see how that does. It's a pz26 btw. The only "chinese quality" that is noticeable are the ugly ass welds and the cheap exhaust heat shield. The pipe itself looks to be high quality. Manual says n down and 1-4 up but this bike is 1 down neutral and 2-3 up. Clutch did not disengage after assembly until I cranked the starter for some reason. Easy to load in a pickup with a 10 foot 2x12 myself.Update 11/02/222 years and it still runs great. I have upgraded to 16/19 inch wheels and tires. Got a 26mm nibbi carb and uni filter. The carb was too big for the 125 and would lean out with a throttle snap. I got a 141cc big bore kit from tboltusa, on this motor it actually makes about 138cc. With a 57mm High compression piston up from 54 mm. I couldn't find a race cam but I was able to track down a cam from the 155 zongshen motor and this bike came to life. It screams through the gears now. The carb is perfect for this setup. These parts were incredibly difficult to track down. I had to tear the motor down to measure everything by micrometer in order to match parts. You cannot just order by bike or engine. Next I'll work on the ignition. The handlebars are also very flimsy so you'll want to replace them immediately.

Great dirt bikes for the money.
I purchased 3 x X-Pro Hawk 125s to enjoy time with my kids while riding. The Chinese bikes have come a long way and are a great value for the money. I have no doubts that these bikes will hold up well over time with lots of use. As with any brand of dirt bike, if you take care of the machine it will last and take care of you.The Zongshen motor that comes on these bikes is great and it has plenty of power to get my 6'0'' 200 lbs frame up and over any obstacle. My 5'2" daughter can reach the ground just fine and is also able to kick start the bike. My son who is 5'9" has plenty of room on the bike. The bike didn't show as coming with an adjustable rear shock, but it did. I pre-loaded the shock on my bike so it could better handle my weight. Pre-loading it made a huge difference. I'm planning to add about a 3/4" of washers to each of the front forks to pre-load those springs a little more. Some worthwhile and inexpensive upgrades I did right away to all three bikes was putting on Mikuni VM22 carburetors as the one that came on it didn't have any adjustability. It also pays to get an extended fuel screw so you can tune the fuel screw without constantly having to take off and on the carburetor to adjust it (I learned quickly how valuable this part was). I also added a 17 tooth front sprocket on each bike and that really gave 1st and 2nd gear much more usability.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! - I experienced great customer service with X-Pro as the bikes came in a decent about of time which was 7 business days from when I ordered them. That's pretty good considering these shipped from California to North Carolina. All the bikes came pretty well packaged and it was really the internal metal frame that they use to support the bike during shipping that allowed those items to be received in good condition. The only issue I encountered at all was that the green bike's front rim was bent some. It didn't make a big difference on the trails, but riding on the street it was very bouncy for my son. I emailed X-Pro to let them know and this weekend I received a new front rim! No questions asked!! I couldn't be happier with the transaction, the quality of the bikes and the fun I'm having with my kids.My kids love these bikes and I have no doubt yours will too!
