Wait, what?
Ian and Veritas/Ariel have been my favorite since the first book. There were some truly great moments in WIcked All Night, but I wish...well, the ending was really ridiculously abrupt.SPOILERS:Every Night Prince book this author wrote had some sort of look ahead, a wrap up, an epilogue. It's really missing here! How about a scene with them finally getting time alone with Silver in peace? On a beach somewhere? And, all Silver does this whole book is fly in circles happily greeting them. I kept hoping he'd have something more to bring to the story, otherwise, why have him at all? ...but more importantly, Veritas never really unifies her selves. You see some improvement, but not full merging. And, she ends up even more afraid of using her full powers. And blaming herself, for again, getting used by others. How does someone THAT old not know how to cope? There was also way too much teleporting. Sometimes a nice plane ride and an actual visit with a person, like Vlad, is a nice change of pace. I was dizzy from it. It was an easy way out of writing, need someone? Just teleport and bring them in. Vlad and Leila had to work out that issue of not working together to try and protect each other, and Ian and Veritas might have had opportunity to look at that in a deeper way in their own relationship. Now, I know that they needed Vlad's fiery self quickly, but it could have been done better. Or after. The whole epic battle at the end was rushed and again, no wrap up. No thanks. No hand shake with the ghouls. Were they even needed? I don't know. It's not fleshed out. It would have been much better to have a few more pages, at least to be in Veritas' home with Ian, breaking some furniture the way that they like to do.There were a lot of loose ends not tied up for what was hinted to be the last book in this series of books. Why was Ian such a super powered vampire in the first place? Will Veritas/Ariel ever become one, whole, complete and integrated being? What about her ex, who so clearly loved her...And what really happened to Tenoch? First two books, her "beloved sire" is mentioned so many times. In this one, there is one reference maybe two. It's just never really explained. Why did he commit suicide? Why did she think she could have saved him but didn't? Where does that guilt comes from? Lots of unfinished business. Just a quick fade to black and roll credits.

Thank God it’s over! ⚰️⚰️⚰️
I usually like J.F. books but these were NOT up to par. Ian was my favorite in other books and I was SO looking forward to an awesome story. Sadly, I was disappointed! Let me say I listened to this on Audible, not read it. Audible won’t let me review it saying I had not listened to enough of it even though I had listened to it in entirety. (Even listening to the “Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program”.) I don’t know how much more I could listen to? But I digress. The story was weak. The narration even weaker. Travia Gilbert rushed through it at neck breaking speed. She is one of my favorite female narrators. The ending felt rushed with no epilogue. Sadly only 3 stars on this one. 😥

I would, Mate.
My review of Jeaniene Frosts Wicked All Night. Ladies and gentleman if you have not read this woman’s books get to it. Phew. Her character developement is outstanding. For example one person saying “who would dare!” And Ian responding “I would, mate”, had me all the way WAP (as the younger people would say). Not because it was a sex scene or was a sexy situation in the least. But because the character developement is so good you can actually feel how sexy Ian is when he said it! Phew, i needed a fan! The book is exactly what I would expect from her series. Fast pace, great story, stellar character developement, good humor and sexy! Wonderful seeing all the characters from other books, and I’m greedy so of course I want more of them. But Ian and Veritas kept me busy enough 🙂 I would have liked more at the end to line up another book.. maybe more on Vlad, Merchenes, Charles, Kat and Bones or even a spin off book with Veritas’s brother (saucy!). But that is more about my greed than anything. The book was astounding 10/10, must read. Now i need more!! LOL but I’m insatiable.

Frustrating
This was my least favorite of the series. Sure there were some good parts and I still love Ian but overall I struggled to stay interested. Nothing really got answered, some things seemed forced and it just seemed to be missing...... something.

Not what expected
I’m a big fan of Jeannine Frost! And to me, this book was a let down. The plot seemed rushed, some scenes were not explained enough, veritas continued to be more whinny and “weak” instead a strong female that a 4000yo vampire should be.. especially one mixed. I liked her in book 1. Now... le sigh... disappointing. I’ll probably just go reread her old books when they were good.

Another great romp through Jeanienes' imagination!
I've been reading this series for years! Just as good as all the rest! If you have just picked this book up, I recommend that you start at the beginning, either of Ian's story, or all the way back to Cat & Bones. Enjoy

Fantastic series
I've been looking forward to this book and it didn't disappoint.I always assumed no-one would overtake vlad as my favorite vampire character but Ian has eclipsed him 😍

Fabulous
Another great addition to the Wicked series. Fast paced, this book ties up a lot of loose ends but still takes you on a wild ride with Veritas and Ian..
