Noisey but awesome
I have a smaller pressure cooker and it is perfectly silent. However, it doesn’t tell you the pressure…it just has a little tab that pops up and you are good to go.This one gets noisy at 11psi. I have to put a glass cup over the top of the pressure relief valve to quotes it down by my wife still complains that it is noisy and so she looks forward to me turning it off.Are other brands not as loud? I can’t say but I pray to God that these good folks will learn how to make this awesome device perfectly silent

Very happy with my purchase.
I’ve been canning for years. I purchased this last year because I wanted a canner with a gauge, and used it a few times. It’s getting much more use this year. It comes up to 11 lbs of pressure and easily stays there. Someone complained that it won’t go over that. The weighted jiggler that comes with it is a 10 lb weight. It’s not going to go over that. He/she can purchase a 15 lb weight and I’m sure it would work. I’d recommend this to any new or seasoned canner.

*JUNK* SOUNDS LIKE A BARGAIN BECAUSE ITS LOW PRICED. (LOW PRICES BECAUSE ITS TRASH)!
The media could not be loaded. This pressure cooker states that it can reach the same pressure levels as other “higher priced” cookers on the market. Electric pressure cookers are unable to get above 12 PSI. So I returned the electric one I had with intention on buying one I could reach 15 PSI with. Videos attached. (That’s over 75 minutes in), the VERY MAXIMUM PSI this cooked will reach is just below 12 PSI, not suitable for what I need it for). I need 15 PSI, on top of that the thing is made in China with low quality materials/poor craftsmanship. I had a great deal of fear while using the cooked, as it on top of everything else actually displaced (thankfully) but still displaced wares out of the top which should not be possible. The instructions were pathetic (when your using something as serious as a pressure cooker safety is a primary concern). Thankfully videos posted online helped me navigate safe usage with it. Purchased it & east able to use it for well over 3 months since I bought it/hung out in the closet for a while, so now I own a “generic”, dangerous, low quality, legitimately scary to use device in which I’m unable to return. That BY NO STANDARDS-gas, electric, etc. will come near anything over 11.5 lbs. which is 3.5/4lbs shy of what I need it for. What a ridiculous waste trying to to be “thrifty” and save a bit…. This is one item I’d suggest you go ahead and spend the extra money to buy the real deal. Not some China made trash, that will not top 11 PSI. (And I assure you the not topping 11 PSI with this 🗑 does not make you feel safer in any sense of them imagination)! Will give to friend/family member who needs a large boiling pot as this is not capable of canning at correct/safe PSI. Mycology friends, stay away from this pressure cooker like the plague as this will invite contaminants into all of the jars & bags you will make with this. 😠😕

Better than the Family Heirloom
I have wanted to learn how to can for a long time. I finally went to learn from an expert. The American is what all the best canners use but I couldn't come up with $400 to start this hobby. I looked over all the less expensive choices and took a chance. Using this pot has been a breeze. I love everything about it from start to finish. The lid locks on nicely and easily. The symbols on the lid and handle are like "locking for dummies." That helped my confidence in using a pressure pot. Then it heats up. Hmmm, when to add the weight? No second guessing here. The pot has a secondary little vent near the handle that pops closed when it is time to put the weight on the spout. The gauge has markings for where to have the needle for both pressure canning and water bath. I have done both now and can't wait to make something else. I have already made fresh corn relish, mango salsa, regular salsa, beef and potatoes, chicken stew, and bourbon bacon jam. This is amazing. I thought this would be my "starter pot" but it's now my right hand in the kitchen. Love it!
