These scissors are great. Came very sharp and made it a lot Easier with grooming. Delivery was very fast.

I am not a professional groomer and I have struggled to get a good cut on my cavapoo. His coat is a mixture of patches of curly poodle coat and areas of flat, dense cavalier coat. I find it very difficult to get even a half decent finish on him as the clippers don’t like his coat. However, these scissors have been a real game changer for me and I can get him to look reasonably respectable - albeit at a distance to the non professional eye!

So I thought I would try a cheaper pair of chunkers to see what the hype is about over them before I spent a small fortune on a decent pair, having groomed dogs for over 26yrs iv never used chunkers so I thought I’d try them out, they arrived ok and I started on a little maltese X hind quarters and then made my way to the chest and then …broke. Wouldn’t close. I had to manipulate them shut with my two hands. Absolutely rubbish. I can only presume the screw holding them isn’t sufficient, by any means they are being returned for a refund. I wouldn’t waste my money by buying these but I did like how they gave a more natural blend before they broke in the 5 minutes I used them. So yes to chunkers and a big thumbs down for this brand. So I have invested in decent chunkers x1 and thinners x1 £250 later. But I always believe you get what you pay for and £59 (what this set cost) might sound expensive, but to a groomer this is cheap for a pair of scissors so don’t waste your money if you want decent chunkers/thinners, buy professional which isn’t these.

It is such a great scissor and leaves a great finish on legs and faces, saves a lot of time and is easier to shape everything! I recommend them for anyone who wants to expand their scissor collection! :)

I bought these as a trainee dog groomer. I was worried to spend too much on something that didn't work properly. They work well, sharp and smooth cutting. I will be buying another pair.

I thought they were brilliant to start, but even though the seller sent me a video they still sticking and won’t close, so are useless. I have adjusted the adjustment screw and they open and close when I am not using them, but as soon as I start using them on the dog, they start to stick open. Very expensive for how they perform. Be warned. They will not last.
