NB North Bayou Monitor Desk Mount Long Arm for Monitors Within 4.4 to 19.8lbs Ultra Wide Full Motion Swivel Height Adjustable Monitor Stand H100

I have two (x2) 28" monitors @ 11.4 lbs. each that I had mounted to a desktop monitor stand/mount. While this technically worked, the stand was easily knocked over and couldn't be adjusted easily. It also took up a lot of real estate. A big problem with my configuration is my desk is an old 50 style metal desk that goes against the wall and the available back lip for the c-clamp is only about 2". I sought a better solution and decided to give this NB Monitor Mounts a try since it appeared the c-clamp required just over 2 inches. Would it be enough? Answer=yes! To my pleasant suprise, I was able to get these to clamp down tight and can extend and adjust the monitors across the width of the desk and get them to the recommended eye level and distance! The product was packaged well, no missing or broken parts, and easy to put together and install. For the price point, I consider it well made. The hardest part of the install was getting the spacing (left-right distance apart) of the 2 monitor mounts just right to be able to adjust each to get the monitors to abut each other (no space between) at the desired height and distance. That just meant clamping down, loosing, moving the mount over a bit, clamping, testing - rinse and repeat until satisfaction! I will also share that because I had 2" of depth/lip on the desk and the c-clamp would more ideally work with ~2.5" depth, I decided to cut two 3"x1.5"x.5" (lxwxthickness) boards 1 for each monitor mount) that I put in the back of the "c" of the clamp. This helps prevent any lefft-right motion that may be introduced while adjusting the monitors. The clamp tightened down well, so I'm not sure how much I needed to do this but it was also simple since I had some scrap board available. Overall, these work and look great! Thank you North Bayou!

I recently got a 34 inch ultrawide but found that my old North Bayou monitor arm could not support it, nor lift it to the height I desired. Since I had great experiences with my other monitor arms, I went with North Bayou again and I was not disappointed. After tweaking of tension and getting it set up, it has a little wobble if I shake the desk but not an unreasonable amount. Realistically its a steal for the price and I can't complain. The range it has is amazing and installing it was pretty quick too.

I'm gonna help out other people who may be suspicious. So I was buying this for a tv stand that has a 1x1 frame with a wood, fake wood, whatever it is drop-in insert, tack welded and screwed from the bottom where it is also recessed underneath. I was very nervous about getting this because I wasn't sure if it was gonna bring the wood right out, but I managed to find a use for some broken tile and filled in the recess and from there, sturdy as a MF. This thing should be $100+ for the quality, and not only that, but it's ease of use. I am very pleased with how easy it was. I think my table will hold up very well and that goes towards how well it's made, especially as to where and how far the vice goes under the table, making 1" tables even more doable if you also provide the extra girth.

The overall quality is pretty solid, certainly a great value for the price. I’m pretty happy with this arm, but a couple of issues came up that could be big cons for others. First, as in my picture, there are grooves that allow you to pre-threat the top screws into the VESA plate on the back of your monitor and drop the monitor into place. But this doesn’t work for my mount since it has a diagonal plate that gets too close to the back of the lower holes. I would be fine with this IF these bolts were hex-headed and I could grip them with a wrench from the side. But they’re not: these bolts are Phillips-head screws. Meaning you CANT easily grip them to remove the nults/bolts if you need to take the monitor back down. Which I did, and ended up having to left the entire assembly off the desk. (If manufacturer changes to hex heads, it’ll be perfect.) My “monitor” is actually an iMac, and it weighs a full pound less than the specification for this mount, even with the bracket and everything. But the mount has a hard time staying tight enough in the front/back tilting. I eventually cranked it down enough to keep my monitor horizontal, but it won’t be adjustable. As a minor annoyance, there’s no tensioning for rotation of the monitor, so everytime I grab the monitor to move it I also have to adjust the rotation again. Minor annoyance, since it stays where I tell it to. The rotation/extension between the horizon arms also has no tightening screw, so in certain positions the monitor wants to drift back to a different position. Overall I recommend this arm if the measurements meet your specs, I’ve had it a few weeks now and it’s completely changed how I use my desk for the better. I love being able to lift the monitor out of the way for more workspace, or bring it back closer to me for a better view.

Many other arms will work, no question. But beware how many reviews mention won't hold their size monitor or one adjustment won't hold position (usually tilt) and you'll quickly see you're rolling the dice with most of them. I did all the scrolling and review reading/research and it was either spend 3 times the cost or get this one. I think the pole style configuration scares some people off, but don't let that be you. This thing is solid, easy to assemble and holds my 34" ultrawide without difficulty. Attaches solidly to the desk top edge (didn't try the through the hold style). Easy to adjust, though the set screws are "stiff" so takes a bit of effort. Was so impressed bought a second for my 27". Works perfect in my setup and could not be happier for the price.

かなり満足しています。2万円近いエルゴトロン系と比較できるレベルで、特に水平移動はほぼ同等です。意外とパッケージや説明がしっかりしていたのも好印象で、必要があればリピートするかもしれません。全体的にグレーっぽい色なので、完全なブラックが欲しい人は注意してください。 [以下詳細] セールで3000円弱で購入しました。モニターアームは4台目で、これまでエルゴトロンOEM1台、3000円程度の非ポールタイプを2台使ってきました。以下、エルゴトロン系との比較です。 ・水平移動はほぼ同等です。初動が軽くて微調整しやすく、複数の軸が動く前後移動もスムーズです。動きの滑らかさ（ぬるっと動く感じ）はややエルゴトロン系の方が上ですが、実用上差はないと思います。 ・上下移動はこちらの方が軽いですが、ガススプリングらしいバネ感があるのでやや癖があります。また、構造上モニターの傾きが若干ズレます。エルゴトロン系はやや動きこそやや重いですがピタッと止まるので微調整しやすく、モニターの水平を保つ機構があります。 ・ポールの径は同じです。土台はエルゴトロン系の方がややずっしりしていますが、こちらも十分安定しています。ポールの長さがこちらの方が長いので、エルゴトロンOEMもこちらのポールに移して使っています。 ・回転、傾き（モニターに一番近い部分の関節群）はどちらも渋いです。こちらはやや構造がシンプルで少し分解できるためグリスアップしましたが、まだ少し渋いです。エルゴトロン系はここがフルメタルですが、こちらは樹脂パーツが併用されています。ハードに動かし続けると耐久性に差が出るかもしれません。 ・ケーブル整理の機構はこちらの方が良いです（というかエルゴトロン系が雑すぎます）。ただしモニターに近いほうのケーブホルダーは軟質樹脂なので、あまりに硬い、太いケーブルだと動かしたときに支えきれないかもしれません。 ・アーム全体の長さは標準的ですが、エルゴトロン系と比べるとやや短いです。普通に使う分には問題ないと思いますが、支柱をデスク端にしたい人や液タブ用に手前まで引き出したい人は注意してください。 ・樹脂パーツが併用されているため手に取った時の質感はやや劣りますが、デザインが工夫されていて見た目はそこまでチャチくないです（主観）。 ・総じて、安定感はやや敵わないものの実用上匹敵する使用感です。メインモニターをこちらに付け替え、安定感と長さが欲しい液タブをエルゴトロンOEMで使っています。

Used it for a Dell 27inch monitor. Works well to free up desk space. Bought a visionswipe reinforcement plate to use with it. Very versatile in getting the height desired and can swivel easily to different directions. Will need to modify the tightness of the spring (tuning the hex screws with +/- indicated) to match the weight of your monitor. A small suggestion to screw on the monitor before slotting it onto the base arm.

En liten sak jag missade va att minimum vikt på enheten va 2 kg. Jag har en surfplatta på armen och behövde lägga en hantel på 2 kg som ballast.

I have two 31,5 inch LG 2k Monitors hanging on 2 of these since today. Ordered yesterday, they came in today. The installation process is annoying in an ''Ikea closet'' type of way, but doable. Honestly, it's crazy cheap for the build quality, would recommend.
