Does this come with the brass couplers?

Yes. The brass couplers are included. Firstly we have 40 pumps in stock without rubber washers. After we sold 38 pumps, we included plumbers tape as well as rubber washers in package. But in amazon warehouse it's not first-in-first-out. So we can't be sure if the 2 pump without rubber washers are still in amazon warehouse. The brass couplers are included in every package.

Is this safe for transfer of boiling wort (homebrew)? Hoping to hear from a homebrewer who has used this. Thanks.

Yes, I have used it on 4 brew days. I have a 2 vessel system with just the one pump so i do a lot ofpumping. I recirculate during mash and also I recirculate my wort at the last 10 minutes of boil to sanitize then continue pumping through out chilling then pump into my fermenter.it does come apart, I take mine apart after every brew day but it never is really dirty. Over all good pump for $20.

what size vinyl tubing needs to be used with this pump? (list inner diameter please)
