Bought for the simple reason my thumb kept touching the adjust button on my Ricoh camera. The accessory nowkeeps my thumb from touching the adjust button. I would buy this item again if I had to.

Like the texture on the top to match the gr 3 texture, nice touch

Bought the gr3 version for my canon eos m3 and it works great on that camera too. With some blu tack under the hot shoe it stays in place reasonably well and provides a good bit of extra grip when shooting in portrait. It does cover the mode dial on the m3 but it wasn't originally designed for that camera and tbh I dont ever use the mode dial, it just stays in manual with auto ISO.

Love the product, perfect fit in my new GRiii!Only gave 4 stars as I wish there was an all metal option, or that the stuck on piece of vinyl/faux leather was rubberised or just the same as the rest of the thumb grip.That's just personal preference though, lovely addition and definitely recommend.
