I got these for pressing paneer rather than tofu but they are just as I imagined they would be and work perfectly for the intended use.

So, I've been on a DIY cheese-making kick lately (think haloumi, paneer, and the likes), and I found a nifty little tool to help out - a 2-piece Food Grade Plastic Tofu Press Mould Kit. Yes, you read that right, a tofu press for cheese making!These molds are pretty neat for a couple of reasons. First off, they're super easy to use. Just press your cheese mixture into the mold, and voila, you're on your way to homemade cheese heaven. The fact that they're designed for tofu but work wonders for cheese is a cool kitchen hack.However, there's a slight catch. I kinda wish the tops of these molds were a bit more weighted. When you're pressing cheese, you want that extra weight to help squeeze out the moisture and get that perfect cheese texture. It's not a deal-breaker, but a little more heft on top would make them perfect.Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with these molds. They're a great addition to any DIY cheese-maker's arsenal. We bought this to make tofu but found a use for it sooner than that to press butter and to press paneer cheese. It is currently in the fridge pressing out the paneer cheese. The picture is of almost a pound of butter pressed out this morning into a clear glass bowl. The cheesecloths are excellent cloth. The press works very well. I did need my husband to press the cheese due to his hand strength being better than mine, but with a weight over time, it would have worked just as well. Very easy to clean. I would highly recommend.

I have purchased this tofu press in the past, I use it for making plant-based cheeses and it works beautifully… I am a multi ethnic vegan chef professionally and sometimes more expensive doesn't mean better!Recently I've gotten back to making my own tofu because what with Covid ravaging the world and all folks are buying Tofu more than ever my favor tofus are frequently out of stock in the store, which under the circumstances is a good thing…So back to what I was saying I'm back to making tofu and this is an excellent press. It washes well the ones I had before still work… And this one comes with two cheese clothes as well which is excellent value because otherwise you spent a lot of money on those…So for conventional tofu making or for cheesemaking I highly recommend this. And to those who complain and say that it didn't press hard enough this isn't a locked up press this is a basic simple press and if your paneer doesn't turn out probably you need to work on your recipe.

These are a lot better quality than I expected them to be. I assumed they would be fairly flimsy but do the trick, but they're actually pretty substantial. They're exactly as pictured. All the pieces were there, including the cloths. I have used them for making tofu. You could also use them to press the liquid out of commercially made tofu. I plan to also use them to mould and press cheese such as halloumi. I would definitely recommend them.

Las telitas para colar no funcionan muy bien, son muy équeñas, recomiendo conseguir tela más larga para que no se vaya a salir el tofu. Igualmente hay que ponerles peso encima para que expriman bien así que creo que mi mejor opción hubiera sido las que ya tienen unos broches, pero bueno, la próxima compra será una de esas.

These are great value for tofu mold, everything you need! I do use another mechanical tofu press for extra firm tofu which presses very quickly but for molds and light to medium press tofu they are doing the job at a fraction of the price from bamboo ones and smaller too so you can store them easily. They even come with mesh cloth too.
