I was on the hunt for a washable ink pad to use for stamping projects with my toddler, who has recently discovered stamps. My go-to brand for arts-and-crafts projects did indeed have several washable options but according to fellow Amazon reviewers, many folks were unhappy about being sent dried-out ink pads--so there goes that option!Imagine my surprise when, looking for penguin towels for my little guy, INK PADS came up, with the brand name Panda and Penguin (two beloved animals by the two kiddos in our household)! I couldn't resist the momentary distraction, and after a cursory read of reviews, went and bought the ink pad. Impulse buy? Well, sort, of, except that I'd been meaning to get something like this anyway...So--the inkpad arrived, packaged beautifully and adorably (my 8-year-old immediately claimed the bag, which is just what I thought she'd do...), and then today we broke out the pad itself to do some on-the-go stamping. The ink works well, washes off quite easily (not a "one-wet-wipe-to-the-hands" washable but not a "scrub for 45 minutes" washable either). My one tiny complaint with the pad itself is that I wish the lid stayed on just a bit better--that's why I gave 4 vs 5 stars. I also wonder if this fabulous company is planning on making other colors available on Amazon? I actually printed out the free ebook of activities and tips and it seems like other colors are available directly from P and P...if other colors were available, I'd grab those in a heartbeat! And while we're at it, maybe a larger size so it's easier for little hands to make handprints, or use larger stamps? Just some thoughts...Overall, a great product with just a little room for improvement--thanks!!

Purchased this to take paw prints from a cat as it was listed as non toxic. This worked very well for taking his paw print. It left clear prints that were dark enough to easily see. It was easy to wipe off his paw with a wet cloth. The only thing that I would change is the lid. It just sits on the base and it is easy for the two to separate if it is dropped. I am currently using a very large binder clip to hold the two together while it is stored.

Used this to put my 7 month old daughters hand and foot prints on paper for a Father's Day gift, but the pad was very small and I had to move the pad around to really get her whole hand/foot inked up. It was easy to wipe off afterwards, but my daughter got ink under her fingernails and had black fingers for days as it was hard to get it out from there. I wish the pad was a little larger, but I would purchase this again due to the ease of wiping it off my baby.

Product works amazing. Prints are beautiful. Only problem is the amount of prints you get out of the ink doesn't add up to the price. Ink runs out fast. With an infant, multiple attempts are needed to get a good one and with ink that runs out fast I had to order another one to get all my prints. I would have switch products but most others I have read reviews on do not work as well as this one and I'm in a time crunch. My baby is growing too fast I have to finish this project before her hands are too big to fit!

Easy to wipe off fingers with a wet wipey and shows up well on the card stock I used. The lid covers the pad well but I will keep mine in a ziploc to make sure it won't dry out. Nice quality reusable little bag it comes in.

So, I got this as a gift for my sister because she was having a baby, She loved it!She has multiple kids and they use it for play time regularly, it seems like they always have fun new things to do because of the eBook!IT EVEN WASHES OUT OF CLOTHES!My niece was doing one of the activities and got some ink on her clothes, and all over her hands, (i look away for one second...) and her hands washed and my sister was able to wash the ink right out of the shirt.Thanks for making me seem like a great brother!Highly recommend

It's a great little ink pad that was easy to wash off. My son's 5 month hand was already outgrowing the size of the pad, but enough room to get his hand inked.

I'm not sure who was more excited about this ink pad, my kids or me. I'm not super sentimental but as a single dad, I'm beginning to realize that my kids are growing up too fast. It only took 7 minutes for me to open this ink pad and capture my kids foot prints. The ink is quality, and I'm confident that these products are top of the line based on the time and effort they put into the packaging and presentation alone, something that I take seriously as a marketing professional who understands that giving your customers a good member experience is key to loyal branding.
