It does the job.
These strut assemblies are pretty ok for the price. I drive a 2011 Ford Explorer and there are significant differences compared to the OEM parts (which I expected for the price). First the build of the springs is nowhere near what it should be, they are small and offer very little support. My SUV rides about 2-3 inches lower than originally. If I were stilling living up north where there is snow I am 100% sure I would get stuck because there is almost no clearance anymore. Second is the ride. For being cheap parts they are pretty good. There is still some noise but when you are on rough roads you should expect that. Overall the noise level is minimal and they do their job. If you are looking for a quick fix to get you by for a few thousand miles then this is a great choice. If you want something that will actually last 20k-45k miles then just spend the extra money and get the real parts.

Great fit!
Fit Explorer well, as mentioned in other reviews, there is a slight difference is spring size from OEM. OEM spring is larger in diameter, thus creating a little lower ride with their spring. Overall great ride quality.

Working great!
So far so good. Direct replacement took about 1.5hr to install. Factory strut bearings continue to go bad on our explorer was on 3rd set and 3rd alignment so tossed OEM and tried these. They seem to be good quality for a fraction of the cost of OEM!

Quality Struts for 2011 and 2012 (built before 9/4/2012)
It's important to know that if your Explorer is built before 9/4/2012 these are the correct struts even if your Title/underhood epa sticker date is 2013. this vital info. should be included in the information both for the consumer and for the company to increase sales. I sourced this information from the Ford Dealer and other Automotive parts websites. The vehicle I installed these on was a 2013 AWD Explorer (3.5l) built 7/4/2012.The struts fit well and functioned well. Master Mechanic 1988-Present.
