Nearsighted Swim Goggles, Shortsighted Optical Swimming Goggles No Leaking Anti Fog UV Protection for Adult Men Women

-10 right, -8 left. I'm used to surviving with less than ideal correction, so I just got the -8. Without correction, its just not safe for me to be anywhere near a pool. I'd never find my glasses, wouldn't see the pool ledge, wouldn't see a wall.... heck I wouldn't even be able to see that there is a black line.I normally swim with contact lenses and regular goggles. But, I like to swim every day and you never know when you might have a scratched cornea or something. Got these as a back up.I haven't tried these in the water, but I've tried them on without my contacts in. Impressive! I could see well enough to get around. I always assumed corrective goggles would have to be custom made and cost a fortune! Can't believe the range of strength they come in. Its hard to find contact lenses in my range. Is the correction perfect for me? Of course not, but goggles always cause distortion anyway, they're not meant for driving. But they're miraculous and take me from being basically totally blind to seeing well enough to survive.Can't say how well they are at preventing leaks, but given the customizable nose piece I don't anticipate a problem.I love that they're mirrored and tinted as I always swim in outdoor bright conditions.

These goggles are okay for the price. When I compared these to the many other goggles I have tried these are the ones that are the closest prescription to mine. It also one of the few that has that high of prescription. They are a bit tinted so they do not get too much glare for me. They also do fog up as much as many other goggles do unfortunately so that is a bit annoying. They keep the water out and fit perfectly for my head. It is adjustable if it becomes uncomfortable. The adjustment is not very easy though. Honestly I feel like the bands will break. There is no case that comes with it so it is not as easy to store the goggles in. After every swim I wash the goggles and clean it to keep the coating on the goggles from wearing down. That being said the goggles are a bit easy to scratch regardless. It is more noticeable on the color of the coating. Overall I do like these goggles and they are for my prescription. The problem is that the goggles get a bit easy to fog and scratched easily. It also is hard to adjust.

Game changer. I cannot believe these googles exist that, for this price, allow me to see clearly at the beach while swimming. Excellent, watertight fit. I wore them all summer. FANTASTIC!

I’ve worn glasses most of my life. Usually when I go swimming I take my glasses off and hope for the best. I got these goggles before going on vacation and they worked out great! Can’t remember the last time I saw anything more than a few feet away while swimming.Minimal fogging, minimal water leaks, and they held up to a week of swimming no problem. I wear a 7 1/4 baseball hat and these goggles barely fit my head - I used the Large nose bridge and extended the straps as far as they would go. Let’s just say the fit was snug. The mirror finish didn’t really fit my style, but the lenses weren’t too dark even at dusk.My usual prescription is -2.25 in one eye and -3.5 in the other. I got these goggles in -2 and -2.5. I ended up using the -2 because the -2.5 felt too “strong” and made me dizzy.Overall I’d absolutely recommend these!

My prescription is -5.5 and -9, which is a big difference where I couldn’t get away with just wearing -5.5 goggles. I bought two goggles during Black Friday sale - one -5.5 and one -9. I took them apart and recombined them to make my prescription. You can remove the strap and pop the lense part out of the nose bridge to swap with the lense from a different set. I can’t speak to how it performs in water yet, but putting them on it is so close to my prescription and so much cheaper than having to buy a custom set.

I recently started to get back into swimming, but ran into a problem I couldn't see around the pool without my glasses so I needed goggles. I couldn't use my old goggles since they were from before my eyesight diminished. So I looked on amazon for a cheap alternative without getting my exact prescription. I was really impressed that despite it being a bit off (I wear -4.25 and bought -4.00) it was definitely good enough to use around the pool and no problem. I especially like the tint which let me feel reassured while doing backstrokes so my eyes wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately like my title suggest the fit around the head was too tight. To put it on I have to position my hair just right and extend it to the tips. I think this is mainly a pair of goggles for teenagers, or people with smaller heads. I decided to keep it though with hopes that it will stretch out with time, as I do love the way it looks.

I have pretty bad eyes (-11, -12) so if I'm not wearing contacts seeing underwater is impossible. I was skeptical that these would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took them to Hawaii recently for snorkeling and they really worked well. Along with the nose pincher that comes with them I was able to snorkel with no problem and see the beautiful Hawaiian fish. The snorkel being attached does pull on them a little, but I don't think they are really designed for that so I can't fault them. If you wear glasses these really are a good product to improve your water adventures.

Worried about the quality and whether it makes me dizzy but this product works well. Just make sure you get it with the lower prescription instead of the higher one if your eyes have a different prescription.
