Like old, clumpy liquid whiteout
If you've ever used old white out you know it gets clumpy and streaky and the more you try to fix it, the worse it looks. This is a great idea but the product I got wasn't worth the money AT ALL. It comes in a tiny bottle, the size is about the size of a sample nail polish. It has a slim brush like nail polish and you paint it on dry teeth. It makes your teeth feel cool (might bother someone with super sensitive teeth) and tastes mildly minty. It has a clean, white color. But it is streaky and the clumps get stringy. You can't put thin layers on like you can with polish till the color is uniform and there are no tiny ball bearings to mix the paint like in nail polish. Once on it can easily rub off but there will be stuck on patches and it will get in between your teeth. And it looks HORRIBLE. I've never seen tooth paint before so I don't know if it is all like this stuff was, but this really isn't worth the money. I hope this helps.

Get the look of porcelain veneers instantly-
I noticed a wine stain was beginning to form on a few of my teeth from taking small sips and rolling the lovely wine around my mouth and in the process bathing the front of my teeth with it. I was drinking such an amazing Chianti I did not realize that would happen, and still think this is a rare case from this as I have even met Vineyard owners who did not have this happen from drinking wine.I have to wait a few days before I purchase the tooth bleaching kit that whitens my teeth and so I was panicking. Thankfully I know quite a bit about theatrical makeup though I am not a makeup artist but was an actor for some years before I became a director, writer, producer and also acted in my award winning short film. So, I know about makeup for teeth as the makeup artist applied it on me on such television shows as Angel starring David Boreanaz and also Sabrina the Teenage Witch. In those instances they were taking my white teeth and placing awful colors on them which I now realize was awful. I later wrote (along with two others,) and produced and directed an award winning short that was a horror film where I brought on some folks from the Westmore Academy to be my makeup department on that and we worked together on various makeup effects. I know longer make horror or anything that I find upsetting but I still know more about makeup than many people. I saw the Mehron Makeup Tooth FX with Brush for Special Effects, Halloween, Movies (.25 oz) (White) on Amazon and recognized its ingredients as professional teeth makeup. I applied the white and it absolutely works though I will practice a bit with it as it is the first time I ever applied tooth makeup. I am relieved to know that my dentist teeth whitener will be here within a week or so as it takes time to apply this properly and it is obviously suited for theatrical performances that are not daily. It creates a porcelain veneer look, that brighter than white look, that is so normal to so many of us. I had more success with the second tooth I put it on as I put it on too thick on the other. But still I can tell there is makeup on my teeth. I will fix that tomorrow when I reapply it but I was quickly checking it as I am very busy. Even so I tool the time to post this because I saw some negative reviews of it. This is top-level feature film makeup, the people that are writing the negative reviews do not realize what they have, they just need to practice the application of it. I was too busy to pull out a fan but I will tomorrow to apply it. I remember when I had tooth makeup applied on me on the set of Sabrina, or Angel that several brushes were used and I had to smile in front of a fan as the makeup dried. So if anyone using this white tooth makeup has a problem applying it to their teeth I suggest using a lip liner brush and keeping your lip up and sitting in front of the fan while it dries.-Julie Sands

Only giving stars because it's white
Doesn't apply smoothly at all. It literally looks like painting your teeth with whiteout and dries like it too. Waste of money.

Wasted money
Well, it didn't work for me. Attempted to cover a couple of spots on my crowns where the porcelain had worn off, esposing the metal underneath. I agree with other reviewers who said it is difficult to apply evenly and, even if it could be done, it is much too bright white. I understand that this product is meant to be for costume use, and it may be perfect for that purpose. Just don't tell yourself that it will hide a dental flaw -- unless you have unbelievably white teeth. I may find another use for it eventually, such as a paint touchup - maybe.

Overall not great for anything thats not a costume 6/10
The application was horrible and looked very unnatural. It was super watery when I first put it on and was a little hard to get it all off because there would always be little pieces that would get stuck. it felt very chunky on the teeth and it peeled too easily and was too white.

Waste of $
Don’t waste your money. I had one discolored tooth and bought the white color to hide that but it looks like a thick, chunky paste. Worse than before. Even for a costume this feels and looks gross.... Waste of $!

Great if used correctly
I have a cap that was put on all the way back in the 80's. After years of smoking, it started to discolor really bad, especially compared to my real teeth. I became very self-conscious about it and began covering my mouth when I spoke or laughed. I tried everything but the thing just wouldn't whiten like the rest of my teeth. Someone told me about tooth paint so I looked it up and found this. The instructions for this are wrong! Using on dry teeth it looked fake, streaked, and clumpy like white out and came right off. I brushed my teeth and used it while my teeth were still wet and viola. It looks good even close up, I was able to eat with it on without it coming off and lasted until I brushed my teeth (about 12 hours). Would definitely recommend.
