RollerDog Big 18 Stainless Steel Hotdog Roller with Drip Tray (RK4749K)

I bought mine 6 years ago to use at our football tailgate party. Ours has cooked hundreds of hot dogs. It’s awesome. Very basic design that hasn’t failed us. I’ve replaced the fuse once. This is not meant for bratwurst or dogs that aren’t straight. We only cook the best hot dog in the world, Hebrew Nationals.

This is a great item if you doing parties in the summer months. It cooks the smokies/hot dogs so fast and keeps all the flavour in. I did read comments that say to spray the machine before cooking hot dogs but I would not do that. It will be fine if you load up the machine fully but when I did half the amount, the cooking spray cooked on to the other area and was impossible to clean. I find that if you just keep the rollers hot and carefully use a damp thick cloth, clean up is pretty easy. Not so with the areas where cooking spray was sprayed on and no hot dog was cooked on it. It is also impossible to just spray one area as it oversprays. Anyway we love this item and everyone always asks where we get it. As long as you have an outlet you have hot dogs for MANY and quickly.

I read a lot of reviews and Q&A's that say the rollers don't roll when the heat dial is off but the one I received does continue to roll as long as the power switch is on and makes it easier to clean but it is still very difficult to get the rollers clean because it is not recommended to use any scratchers to clean it with. Over all I love this because I don't like boiled dogs. I cooked egg rolls and brats, I did have to watch the egg rolls and help keep them moving because they are pretty big. If you plan to cook items that are odd shaped or a little on the big/heavy side really often you would be better off with a true turn roller. If you just want to have great tasting roller food occasionally and don't mind watching it closely with odd/heavy items, this is for you. I would also say to keep in mind when reading other reviews that some products can be the greatest thing out there yet you can't satisfy everyone.

Our son wanted a Hot Dog bar for his birthday dinner,s I bought this roller. Worked perfect! Quick,easy,delicious! Niece is using today for her sons birthday. Would recommend this machine if you are shopping for a hot dog roller.

This think is the best thing since sliced bread. I have cooked everything on it. Breakfast links are one of the best things to cook on it. From little dogs to big brats it cooks them absolutely perfectly. Mine also squeaked at first but it worked itself out by the second usage. There are bigger ones, but this is the perfect size for the kitchen counter. Love it and use it as much as I can.

I’m having a party tomorrow and I received thus item 2-days ago. We unboxed it today and were disappointed to find it dented on the side and bottom. The box was not dented. The grill is greasy as if it were used. The dent doesn’t allow the rollers to spin. Only half of the grill works properly. For $159 I expected a new, undamaged product. I am not happy at all. It’s dented, dirty and doesn’t even sit Level because of the dents.

It's ease of use and being easy to clean makes even the worst cook on our team a a good Chef.
