Great way to make sure ur new trees have water!
We planted about 15 new trees on our 10 acre lot. Keeping them alive iwith 100 degree temperatures and no rain this summer has been a task. I came across these tree watering bags when looking for alternative ways to make sure the trees were watered. I ordered a few to see just how they worked. I personally was very impressed by the simplicity of the bag and how it slowly waters the trees. I got the 20 gallon bags which I try to fill back up about every three to four days. So far they haven’t run out of water and seem to be very durable. I love this product. It’s perfect when planting multiple trees. They come in different gallon sizes to meet all needs. All my newly planted trees now have a bag. Time saving and easy to maintain. I think they are great. I won’t plant another tree without the use of these bags.

I bought 12 One drips faster then the others. But they work great
They work great. I do not recommend getting them for shorter trees. I have a couple newly planted fruit trees that are about 3 foot tall and these bags cover up most of the tree but it's ok they still work just next time I will get the don't type for my smaller trees. Takes 1 bag approximately 2 to 3 hours to empty while it takes the other 5 or 6 hours to empty. The material is very durable no worries of the bag breaking from catching on something.

They do drain pretty fast
As others have mentioned these drain pretty quickly, in about 2 hours or less. I'm not sure how bad that is. The only info Ican find is in articles about the more expensive bags all say they empty in 3 to 8 hours. So I sm a little concerned about it . Time will tell i guess. It's 20 gallons of water into some very dry soil though. Also, the bags seem very sturdy and have very heavy duty zippers. No matter what they cost, I feel like this is a great idea and am very thankful for it.

Watering bag lasted 3 hours
I installed the tree watering bag following the instructions and was able to easily fill it using the opening. Unfortunately, the bag emptied within 3 hours and is therefore pretty useless as a slow-watering bag. Hoping to return and find a better quality product.

Superior investment
This is my second set because I have several new trees planted in the spring, as well as some established trees that are all trying to survive in our 105+degree multi-day/week heat wave in Texas. It's quick and easy to deeply water my trees. I fill the bags in a very short time, put away the hose and let the dripping begin. In this heat, I am doing this daily right now. The soil is staying nicely hydrated and not drying out. On my established Lace Bark Elm tree with a larger trunk and protective mesh around the trunk to keep my dog from nibbling, I zipped together two bags. This also worked very well. I am extremely pleased with the quality and ease of use of this product.

Good enough for now
I've used the 'real deal/gator bags' for years and I've mistreated them so they're all full of holes and what-not and won't hold water.Time for some new ones and saw these at half the price (OR MORE!!) and thought I'd check them out.On initial inspection, they look practically identical. So I've unpacked them and filled them up and put them around my drought-suffering Crepe Myrtles. Some people write that they are seeing them release water too fast. From my experience, I've seen that over time, the drain holes tend to get filled/clogged up with dirt and/or minerals from the water (I'm on well water) so we'll see how they do.For the price, for now, they are well worth it comparatively.I'll update later on, after the summer and observing them.NOTE: If you've never used a watering bag like this before, then be aware that for anything over the size of a small diameter sapling, you'll probably need at least two of them to zip together to put around whatever you're watering.Ok, update: 8/6.......I've bought 17 of these total and so far, for the most part, they've performed as expected. However, I have at least 5 that have leaking around the vertical seams, with 3 of those what I would tag as a 'severe' or 'heavy' leak. One bag 3/4 drained itself within about 15 minutes. So......I'm going to try to contact the company and see what they offer for help. The rest of the bags (non-leakers) seem to be fine. I'll let you know.

Good well made produce
Reviews of other brands complained they drain in 2 hours not six. For me, these took about 7 hours and left about half a gallon, due to unevenness in the ground. Easy to install and I can move to another tree, watering two in a day. They fold flat to store. I bought four because of our drought and 2 days after purchase, we got 2” from Hurricane Hellene!
