This tool is a must have!I bought it for marking laminate flooring for our new bathroom and I have never felt like more of a pro!! My lines were so neat I almost didn’t want to add trim!Having both sizes is also crucial, you’ll understand after the first project.Happy diy guy here.

You will love this extremely well designed tool!!! It made every cut in the flooring we installed easy and precise!!! Great value at a great price!!!! We no longer have to dread trying to create the often needed angle cuts on the many projects we do in our “flip” houses!!!

These are high quality contour gauges as described. I bought the 5"/10" set: the 5" tool worked flawlessly but some of the blades on the 10" gauge would stick together, affecting the contour outline. Loosening the four screws didn't correct the problem. I emailed D&R to ask for suggestions to remedy this problem, such as spraying the blades with silicone spray etc. D&R had not had any problems like this reported but rather than give suggestions on how to correct the gauge, they generously offered a replacement which works perfectly! Great company to work with!

Worked well for me as I was installing embossed tin panels. Fit around outlets and pipes was pretty accurate. I am a perfectionist so a few small gaps bugged me. Other than that this saved time and frustrations.

The media could not be loaded.  Everyone Should Keep these in their Toolbox!This set of contour gauges are amazing. I wish I had ordered this earlier as it has made my projects so much easier. I have used it to measure crown molding, tile, and hardwood flooring. This product makes it so easy to get the perfect angle every time.The metal locking feature is absolutely a must have!I didn’t really notice that you get 2 gauges (a large and a small) when I ordered this, so I was pleasantly surprised when my items arrived. Both units come in a nicely packaged box. They both have been super useful. I would highly recommend this to any DIYer as it will make your life so much easier!

I have all sorts of tools from home projects over the years and these contour gauges are a welcome addition for finishing projects. I do all of my own woodworking and I like having both the longer and the shorter gauges to choose from depending on what I'm sizing up.The locking option is what makes these particularly useful when doing trim work where you need to make multiple cuts of the same form or compare multiple pieces of trim to see if they have the same pattern and measurements. I keep the gauges in my tool box since they're built of durable material, highly recommended!
