The material is definitely lightweight. These are not shorts that will make you feel hot. They are good for gym work or running outdoors in the heat.They do feel a bit oversized though. I ordered a M and the waist is just fine. The inseam is 8". The rise (distance from waistband to where inseams meet) is a full 12". This gives the crotch a loose, basketball shorts sort of feel.I'm used to shorter rises, so maybe that's why the fit feels so odd. But if you like that amount of space, then these will be for you. I just wish that measurement had been included in the product description.Also keep in mind there is no back pocket. There are 2 side pockets - each with a zipper - that may be a consideration as phone screens and zippers don't usually play nicely together.

I tried these out for the first time today on my run. They were extremely comfortable and I was very impressed with their quality. I will definitely be purchasing a second or third pair of these. What really impressed me was the pockets and how placing items in them such as my phone was very comfortable. I usually hate running with items in my pocket and even had to purchase a waistband to hold my stuff. The items I put in my pocket did not bounce around at all.

Nicely made and fits well. Material feels quality. Bought XL for my fiancé who is 6’3 and wears a 38 waist in pants—shorts fit nicely.

Purchased these for my son. He works for an indoor pool and needed light shorts since it's hot and he can get wet. He loves them.

Excelente for working out or just spending a comfortable afternoon in your backyard! I wear them to the grocery store to the park, I take them mountain biking! Very useful for my daily exercise activities and for daily casual activities because of their freshness!

I've searched for five years to replace some expensive shorts from a competitor. Not only are these workout shorts half price, they are more comfortable, they have a very handy zipper on the pockets, and... most importantly, these shorts stay up while I'm working out. No more hiking... my shorts!I just wore them for the first time. I'm 6ft6in, 44inch waist with 32in thighs and the XXXL size fit perfectly. I use these down the gym and after vigorous use there are no signs of reading or ripping. Cheap too!Hope my sizes help people judge which size is best for them.

I really like these shorts by HMIYA, I bought the 2XL size to fit my 38 inch waist.They would be ideal for working out, but I simply wanted them to wear as casualshorts during the recent hot spell here in the UK ( 34 degrees) and they have enoughroom to allow your legs to stay cool. Made from 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex.Two side pockets with zippers allow you to keep your keys, phone and wallet safe.The shorts are well stitched, look smart and have an inner waist cord should you need to tighten them. They are quickly air dry after a 30 degree wash.Not expensive and are really comfortable.

Habe die Hose für das Training bestellt. Die Short hat eine herausragende Stoffqualität und luftdurchlässig, mit 2 Reißverschlusstaschen, in welche locker auch ein Smartphone geht. Der Stoff ist sehr angenehm an der Haut und es ist kein störendes Innennetz angebracht. Ich werde mir demnächst nochmal eine bestellen. Kann die Hose uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
