These Kicks Rock Steady!
These boots are well designed and crafted. I had a pair with a similar style about (2) decades ago and enjoyed them for everyday wear or adventure and play. Of course they didn’t have Gore-Tex back then, but I’ve always went for a multipurpose hiking boot. When everyone is going right, I’m always going left. This concept is mostly for style and appeal. I can wear these with tactical pants and alike, as with shorts and they look good, feel good. Others notice them and the first thing most say after asking about these nice hiking boots, is what brand are they? I smile as many didn’t even know that Adidas made this type of shoe. They are very comfortable and sturdy to wear. If I had to say anything negative about these great kicks, is that they’re a little slippery in the rain/cold damp and the price is a little high. But if you’re looking for some comfortable, unique style, all purpose boots, then the hype on these are just about right…

Great Sneaker Boots
This is my 2nd pair of these awesome boot shoes.. My initial pair are 6-7 months old and still going strong. I found them cheaper here on Amazon this week so I added this second pair. These are lightweight, sturdy and not gaudy looking. I wear mine a good 3-4 days per week. Below comes from my original 2015 review over on Amazon sister site / Zappos:>>>>>>>>>I've looked for years for replacements to my old (discontinued) Nike ACG mid sneaker boots. Pretty specific requirements: MIDS (but not too high) that can be worn with shorts, light weight, lots of breathable mesh to keep feet cooler in Florida heat, comfortable on old achy feet, no or negligible leather and no basketball shoes. These Adidas Mids are darn near perfect.

Very comfortable
These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I purchased these for hiking and after reading reviews, I was expecting good things. These deliver. Good support, waterproof, breathable, and decent styling and looks all with the premium Adidas brand. I take my dog walking through trails (2-4 miles) frequently with these and have hike on the mountains of Costa Rica in hot weather with these. I haven't had them long enough to try in extremely cold weather, but with decent hiking socks, I expect good results. I also wear these to work for 12 hour shifts as a nurse on my feet and have less foot soreness than my other work shoes.

Extremely pleased!
I've only hiked in these twice, a short local 5 mile hike and 3 days ago a strenuous 14.6 mile hike at Glacier National Park. These AX 2's were absolutely amazing! Excellent fit, very comfortable, great traction on varying terrain and my feet never got wet through multiple water and snow crossings. I will only buy these from here on out and would recommend them to everyone. One last bonus for me is that I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these provided me all the support I need. I've had no pain. Adidas knocked it out of the park with this one!

are comfortable, have plenty of traction
These shoes were probably intended as light hiking boots, and would serve that purpose well, but I actually purchased them for trail running. I had been looking for lightweight footwear that would provide ankle support because I run on natural terrain trails that provide many opportunities for injury. I used to run in low quartered shoes until I finally got the ankle sprain I had feared. The only other type of footwear I could find that provided any significant ankle support were basketball shoes, which lack traction on natural surfaces of any kind. I find that these fit well, are comfortable, have plenty of traction, and are light enough that they feel like a sneaker shoe. They would be perfect for light hiking as well. The only improvement I would suggest is that the lacing system is poor. I would rather have speed lacing like a boot. This would make it easier to use lacing techniques that maximize fit and comfort. I have been running in them for a couple of months now and really like them for train running. I am also considering abandoning my other light hikers in favor of the lighter weight for hiking.

Boots look nice and are definitely waterproof
Boots look nice and are definitely waterproof. I dumped a water bottle on them and literally the water slid off. The material is extremely water phobic. The material may seem cheap when you touch it but I think it's because it's more plastic than soft but that's for the water resistance. The shoes are soft when you wear them though and they look cool. I haven't tried them on the trail yet since I just received them today but from my experience they seem like they'll hold up nice and be fashionable so that's a double plus.

Terribal!
The worst shoes I've ever boughten! I would have took pics and tried to get a replacement pair but I was so passed at the quality I threw them away after the first hike upon them ripping apart. In 1 hike the soles were ripping and falling off. If your looking for shoes for hiking don't get these. They may look good but they are the worst! Your better of with a Salomon, Merrill etc. Even a cheap walmart shoe would be better then these. You pay for the brand name, not brand quality.

light, breathable shoes that keep his feet cool & comfortable!
Got these boots for my husband who is a farmer, as you can imagine he is in his feet all day, everyday! They have lasted him about a year now, there are still no holes or anything major to complain about! Yes I would buy them for him again! They are perfect for him because he gets sweaty feet so he wanted light, breathable shoes that keep his feet cool & comfortable! He's happy! And from a wife's perspective, they good on him lol they are pretty stylish & modern for a work shoe. Thanks!
