RJ45 Crimp Tool Ethernet Crimper for Cat7 Cat6A Cat5e Cat5 RJ45 Pass Through Connector and 6P Telephone Plug

I normally just buy a new Cat5e cable when issues arise, but in this case, I had an outdoor-rated wire running underground. When the plug head went bad, fixing the head was a much better way to resolve it. Now that I have the tool, I won't hesitate to fix rather than replace it. It is a fairly easy process, you just need to ensure you keep the wires in the right order for both ends of the cable. The tool was of good quality... definitely worth the purchase.

Why is all this stuff so expensive locally? Tried to pick this up at Lowes and home depot to run a couple lines in the house - crazy, crazy expensive at the store. This was priced well and works just as good as anything else I have used. Everything was very high quality and nothing to complain about. I suppose this you are a tech in the field you would want something a little nicer, but for the average Joe this is perfect.

I use to have one of these and somehow misplaced. I needed to get a replacement. I needed this more for the stripping of wires part. I need to use a tool because if I use a regular knife I end up going to deep and cutting the wire. This worked perfect to strip wires. I think that the crimping tool is just and added bonus with this tool and helps improve the value.

I needed to make a few patches for my in home mini-lab and so I got this to chop up a few extra wires I had around and attach RJ45 ends on to them. Super simple to set up and use. Had everything I needed to get the small project done.

I received the box with network wire clipper missing so I got it replaced and the replaced box also had the network wire missing. Apart from that the crimping tool is good and solves the purpose.

Lack of instructions. The tools are fine, but tended to over cut into sheath.

Put ends on 5 pre-run cables in various room in my house to have wired internet from the router. No problems. Don't remember seeing a wire stripper in the box but the crimp tool and all the ends worked great.

I purchased for a project. The connectors included were of VERY low quality and jammed into the ports of our devices- the same style connector from Home Depot was perfect.
