Anna and Sarah Organic Dried Crystallized Ginger 1 Lb in Resealable Bag

I am very fond of cystalized ginger. It tastes good and it is also very good for digestion and stomach issues. I've tried MANY different brands of it from local groceries and online sources, including other brands sold by Amazon online. I've shied away from Anna and Sarah's until now because it is more expensive, but turns out it is WELL WORTH THE EXTRA COST. Other brands have lots of hard lumps and dry pieces and big chunks of fiber, but these small cubes of ginger are tender and fresh and rolled in sugar and are absolutely HEAVENLY. The first bag was delivered today and as soon as I tasted the contents, IIMMEDIATELY ordered two more bags to avid any possible shortages : )) The hard part will be not eating it all at once. I highly recommen this product, and I'm not EASY on reviews.

This is the best ginger I have bought. My family knows the efficacy of ginger dealing with digestion. We love ginger chews and these are tender and really great tasting!! I will definitely buy again!!

The cubed product is excellent. The slices, less so. I've received both from this vendor. Quality is generally quite good but there is a problem in being sure just which type will be shipped.

I have loved crystallized ginger since I was a young child. I had given up on finding a great unsulphured, crystallized ginger many years ago. I have had 3 pounds of Anna and Sarah’s and was completely thrilled at their ginger, the size of the chunks are perfect, the taste and sugar are heavenly, there is not too much sugar, which is important. This is the best ginger I have ever had except for my momma’s. Out of 3 pounds I only had about five strings and there have been no peels at all and most importantly it is fresh, not chewy or yucky texture! It would be very difficult to find any other brand that can outdo Anna and Sarah’s crystallized ginger for freshness, taste or value! I love this and could easily go through 4-5lbs a month! I use it in golden milk virtually every evening and when there are upset stomachs in my home it is a go to remedy, there are so many advantages to adding ginger to your routine for health, immunity and vitality. Give it a try!

I’ve tried a few different brands (usually end up trying a new one whenever I reorder). This is one of the better quality 5 lb bags I’ve gotten. I will say it has a little bit more spiciness than other crystallized ginger I’ve bought, but still great flavor and texture. Will likely be buying again.

This product is 'Organic' but the "Country of Origin: China". How do we certify 'Organic' when it comes from China? It tastes like perfume chemicals. The last bag of C.Ginger I purchased was from Fuel. It came from China, as well. It had a clean ginger/sugar taste that I enjoyed. However, NOT found in that product description on Amazon was that Ca. State inspectors found lead in the product. I thought I'd look for specifically organic and local American. (It is hard to trust internationally sourced food products in todays political climate.) 'Anna and Sarah' sounded pretty local to the US. When a product is sourced in China what certification does a US company go through to call themselves 'Organic'? This company has other complaints of of their products having an off, chemical disgusting taste such as this product. Someone else complained of their products having a heavy plastic drum taint. What is the basis for this major change in natural flavor? No preservatives are listed on the product label. As both Pharmacist and Chemical Engineer in manufacturing, I would like to know.

I think the product is ok. My concern is it comes from China this was not made clear on the sites product information. There are warnings not to consume ginger from China. The label states this product is organic. We will be calling the company this week
