I have some project in mind for these, and these are a very nicely made product. So far all of my testing has proven these to be a perfect product for someone looking for individually addressable lighting indoor or outdoor. The lights are very bright and fully programmable to any desired color. I have not use the adhesive, but it seems good. I cannot speak to the lifespan, but I imagine they will last for many years. I look forward to having more fun with these, running them from a raspberry Pi mini computer. make sure you get a power supply that will provide the recommended power for the entire strip or multipole strips.

conclusion: best around, ill buy this brand again. Requires a digital signal before the leds light, 5vdc and ground will do nothing on their own. 5 VDC usually means each led is addressable, and usually a 12vdc strip means leds are addressed in sets of 3 (in the12v strips the leds are in series of 3 with a separate adddessable chip and the cut mark is much further apart than on a 5v strip) wire colors on this strip Red: 5vdc white: ground green: din (digital in) make certain you connect the start of the strip to your micro controller, all strips have arrows pointing in the direction of the digital signal traveling. The arrows point at the end, start at the beginning. Works with fast led but I did notice the order of colors for me is R B G. Comes with extra wiring attached you can just cut it off. The positive and negative each have 2 wires. The digital in is green and only has the one wire. Be alert, the green paint got on one side of the white . 16.4 foot does really have 300 leds.

I love this light strip, its super bright and works great. However, if you plan on doing a large custom setup with this entire strip, make sure to wire in shunts along the strip to provide it power every 50-100 LEDs or so. Use a standard 5v power supply to do this. Otherwise you will be pushing too much current through the thin strip, which could result in damage or even a fire hazard.

Best leds out there. The adhesive tape is not the best, but one year later it still is functioning well. Very long.

I used these for my first ever LED lighting project, and they worked perfectly. Plenty bright, great colors, really sturdy. My only complaint is that the adhesive backing is so sticky that I had a hard time getting the peel off so I could stick them down.

Love these lights. They did exactly what I wanted them to. But, more to the point, BTF's customer service has repeatedly been top notch. Had an issue with a different set of lights that was likely self inflicted. But as other reviewers have said, BTF's customer service was there to help and quickly took care of me. Probably why I keep buying from them. :)

The reinforced connectors are an upgrade I didn't know I needed, but now I don't want to use the old style ever again.

Guter Led Streifen. Einfach einen led controller dazu kaufen oder (für die, die ein bisschen mehr damit rum spielen wollen) einen Microcontroller (esp32 in meinem Fall) mit WLED flashen und ab geht's. Habe zwei bestellt und den ersten bereits "zerflückt" um meine Beleuchtung zu Hause etwas zu erweitern. Im Angebot gekauft finde ich den Preis für einen 5m LED Streifen, 60 LEDs Pro Meter mit einzeln ansteuerbaren LEDs sehr gut.
