They're okay, nothing breathtaking.
These headphones are okay, I've owned steelseries hardware in the past and these are no different to those (sound-wise). They're comfortable to wear, nice and light and the advertised battery life is 24 hours which is a nice addition. I've not tested this though as I tend to plug them in to charge after every session. I plugged this into the usbC port of my ps5 to begin with, this however blocks the much needed usb port on the front of the console. To combat this I bought a 90 degree usbC adaptor off Amazon but it created static and felt like it was causing strain on the port as it didn't lock in normally, So I used the included usb to usbC lead included with this set, it works out a little better for me as swapping from ps5 to pc is more convenient. --- >> (December 2021 edit): I ended up buying this lead to utilise the usbC port, as I've noticed the battery life degraded on my joypad so I wanted to free the port up for charging as I play, The lead works great please feel free to check out my brief review in the leads review section, here is the leads search reference number (copy/paste the random letters and numbers below into the Amazon search bar). B098ND9KC5 (USB C Extension Cable Right Angle 0.3M/1FT,90 Degree USB-C 3.1 Gen2 10Gbps Female to Male Extended Cord) --- They sound okay, when I first plugged them in they sounded pretty quiet but since the last ps5 update they seem louder. A selling point for steelseries seems to be "fully compatible with ps5 3d tempest audio" But let's be real any headset even a £1 pair is compatible with Sony's 3d audio. Speaking of the 3d audio.. it's pretty terrible the 3d audio produced by my old razor headset was much better and I could enable it on my pc too. Something that isn't possible with the arctis 7p. For £150 I expected more. I don't think the disappointing 3d soundstage is steelseries fault as they're using Sony's tempest audio... It just sounds muffled at times, Sony need to fix this, AC Valhalla sounds completely different on PC, much better then on the ps5. The software for the pc is okay, you can set up the EQ to your preference and it saves on the headset (carries over to the ps5), I tweaked the 'performance' preset a little and I've used that one since. As I mentioned though the lack of 3d mode on the pc is a real letdown at this price-point, at least in my opinion. It has a mute button on the headset (makes the light on the mic turn red), however the toggle button on the ps5 joypad works and is far more convenient, it doesn't activate the light though but providing you have the ps5 to automatically mute the mic on login it's no big deal. It also comes with a lead to connect your headset to the joypads 3mm jack, it does seem to boost the mic volume / quality a little with it plugged in but it's still more than clear enough without it so I never use it (I prefer the freedom of true wireless that and I'm clumsy at times and I would no doubt forget it's plugged in lol). Overall this was a solid buy, I wouldn't say they're worth a £150 price tag but if you have the money go for it, or wait for a price-drop/sale. Hopefully they will add more features to the pc software in future updates (namely 3d audio), I'm not going to hold my breath though. Unlike the official Sony headset the ps5 will not automatically change the audio source back to the TV when you turn them off (or visa versa). You will need to unplug the dongle or change it over manually (by pressing the ps-button, selecting the speaker and toggling HDMI or steelseries). I hope this review helps you in some way.

So comfy I forgot I had them on. Sound quality is good and transmitter works well.
Got these for my weekly dnd sessions, tried them for the first time last night and they were great. I wore them for three hours and they were really comfortable, I pretty much forgot I was wearing them. The mic is fine for what I need and the sound quality was really good. The mute button is really handy and the sidetone roller is handy, I was able to get just the right level of my own voice so that it didn't feel weird but wasn't annoying. The transmitter works really well and the range is great, I was able to wander away from my computer for a while and the sound didn't falter at all (my regular bluetooth headphones tend to get a bit dicey at that kind of distance). I've tested it on my PS4, Switch and PC and it's great across all of them. I'm glad I went with the 7P instead of settling for a pair of 7's because the usb c dongle is much smaller, my only issue with it is that it's really long so if I plug it directly into my computer it covers another slot so I have to use the usb-a cable. All in all they're really good and I'm very happy with them.

Truly stylish and usable headphones
I have seen some very mixed reviews for Steel Series products but after seeing a few very positive ones, I decided to get some.. I was not disappointed. I use the Steel Series Arctis 7P mainly with my Ps5 but have also used them with my Nintendo Switch and my phone and they work well and are clear in their sound quality on both. With soft and comfy ear surrounds, adjustable mouth piece, clear and crisp sound quality and slick design, these are definitely headphones I would reccomend, especially at this price bracket.

Do it
These headphones are extremely comfortable. I came from hyperx cloud alphas which were also good but these are next level comfort. Audio quality is good and can be tweaked and saved via the window software. These tweaks do save for console. I'm using PS5. Build quality is also good but could perhaps be a little better but they do feel solid. Connectivity is also good. No drops while going to the kitchen for coffee! Lastly battery life is good. I can usually get about 3x7/8 hr sessions before charging. I tried arctis 7 which are almost identical. So if you're on a budget they might be a better offer Edit.. After 6 months left ear stopped working and had to return to amazon.

Fantastic headset
I've been after a headset for the PS5 since buying it last year and I tried the official PS5 pulse 3d headset which I returned because I found the sound to be awful and the build quality was poor. This SteelSeries Arctis 7P however is just phenomenal. Build quality is amazing, very solid but still lightweight and is extremely comfortable, even with glasses! I don't use the Mic but I wanted to experience the 3D audio from Spiderman Miles Morales, Demon souls and Returnal and it's just WOW! Way better than using the TV speakers and honestly the best headset for the PS5 right now in my opinion.

Long battery life, comfortable, high quality audio
It was on the expensive side, however my expectations were met and exceeded (longer battery life than expected). I am now a huge fan of the ski head bands too, as I find myself getting less of that headphone hair problem. The headphone design is super sleek and cool too.

Great Sound & Comfort
Great quality headphones, really comfortable on my head, for some decent gaming sessions. Using them on my PS5. I haven’t used the mic a great deal, I bought them for when the kids n Mrs were working and schooling at home and they’re perfect for this. They’ve gone back and I’m still using them, the directional sound is very good, used in COD and currently Valhalla. Very simple to set up, connected straight away with no difficulties, and although I don’t play for very long periods, only charges them twice, had them over a month! Recommend and usual great prompt service from Amazon.
