Great addition to our gym

I purchased a pair of the 2.5 lb to check them out. These are great for deadlifts or any other exercise where they start/end on the floor. They don't roll away. The quality seems fine and have a good feel to them. Yes they had some grease on them. This is to protect the exposed iron from corrosion during shipping. Simply wash them with a good degreaser as I did. They smell a little because of the rubber but that should fade with time.

Best barbell weights I have used. I ordered some different barbell weights before this that were a fraction of the price but they ended up chipping and scratching the sleeve of my bar. Needless to say I regret ever wasting money on them. I should have ponied up for these in the first place. These weights will NOT scratch your bar. They have a steel ring insert that is very smooth and will slide on your bar and definitely will not ever chip. I like the rubber coating. I have nothing negative to say about the quality of these weights. Scrub them down with some dish soap to help get rid of the rubber smell. That smell is inevitable on rubber coated items.

Purchased two 5 pound weights. The price was great but unfortunately the first two sent were poor quality with severely damaged rubber coating. Two replacements were sent and the quality wasn't great but acceptable compared to the first two delivered. But then the company kept trying to charge me for not returning the two original plates item even though I had an Amazon return email and copies of previous chats indicating they agreed the item was in fact returned. It was a lot of effort to finally (hopefully) the return charge finally removed from my account. Certainly difficult company to purchase from for my own experience.

Product is great but it has such a strong smell when you open it. I had to hose it before putting it in my home gym.

I live in a condo on a high floor and with the pandemic, was forced to make a mini gym on my balcony and this fit the bill perfect. I can use it to lift in the bar,grab it on the sides and do many other types of movements and don't have to worry about hitting the floor or make noise. It's a shame that they are so hard to get as i wanted to buy more but vendor is out of stock and i cannot find them anywhere else.
