This is the second Big Agnes Big Six Armchair I have purchased. The first one was from REI, which they no longer carry. This chair is very comfortable for sitting at a table or reading a book, relaxing by the fire. Not for reclining. It's light weigth and small. Not backpacker light or size. It does not take up a lot of room in truck bed. Only cons are the price, and the chair tends to get blown over in high winds.

I have another chair this size that is a major brand that starts with the letter "H". There are two significant differences between the two chairs. The first thing I noticed was how this chair naturally leans back more which is what I was wanting. The second thing is this chair is a harder, less stretchy material than the major brand that starts with an "H". I like the leaned back position of this chair but I like the stretchy, softer feel of the other major brand. I wish they could mix the two. I like the the arms and the cup holders on this chair. Overall, the only negatives I can find about this chair is that its squeaky and the material isnt as soft and stretchy as the "H" brand chairs. Im hoping the squeak will eventually go away once the chair breaks in. The material is pulled super tight on the poles and they squeak when I move. Overall, I would say this is a good chair but its less refined than the "H" brand. Its like they were in a hurry to get it to market so they let a few things slide instead of correcting them.

Comfortable chair. ThoughtI really only wanted it for camping out/hiking in. Turns out to be a good enough chair for house. Weighs nothing so easy to move all around. I don’t see how people have camp chairs without these arm rest.

The chair is sturdy and mostly well built. The arms on the chair need a minor redesign. The front of thr arms are just hooked to the poles with open loops. This causes the arms to slide down to the seat. A pocket instead of a loop would work much better. A person expects a better design for this amount of money.

Yes it costs, but it's super lightweight and assembles/disassembles pretty quickly. All the cheaper chairs have bad reviews where they break. I'd rather buy once and have it last. Are there more comfortable chairs? Yeah I'm sure, but not at this weight. Very comfortable and I'm 6-4 245.
