Wahl Professional - Sterling Big Mag Clipper - Salon-Quality, Cordless, Electric Hair Clipper with Rotary Motor - Silver

I'm a barber - this is a great clipper. Never heard of it upon my rep coming in and introducing me to the smaller version - the Sterling Mag.Quiet and cuts strong. Battery life is good. Has adjustable wheel instead of lever which I find useless for cutting with the clipper sideways / angle cutting.I think others who discourage this clipper don't understand what its meant for and capable of doing. It's not a beginner level barber clipper. For residential use/ buzz cuts - get it and buzz away.

I’m a Barber and have used Wahl clippers for 44 years had to send my clipper in for repair. Wahl is fantastic about doing repairs on there products. I bought this one because they were going to need it longer than I thought. This clipper stays charged longer than any of my other clippers I’ve used. It fits in my hand perfectly. Great price also

For the last three years I have been going onto to YouTube to learn how to cut my hair. I have been influenced to buy so many products as a result. I first heard about The Big Mag when COVID came around. I went onto to Wahl’s website, I contemplated buying it at the time but it sold out and it wasn’t available for approximately 6-7 months. I bought this product about 4 months ago and I am so happy with this product. I am able to remove bulk really fast and it actually fades pretty well too. I was able to cut 20 minutes or so off both my haircut and my son’s haircut since buying this product. I often get compliments from my coworkers in reference to my haircut since using this product. I wish I bought this product a few years ago, I know it would have saved me so much money. This clipper is like the best of both worlds because it feels and looks like a detachable clipper, but it’s not at the same price point. You really can’t go wrong with this clipper, it’s going to save you time and you don’t have to worry about zero gaping it.

I was trying to get a new WahlClippers clipper just like the ones I have used for years. This one was completely different and too complicated to use on a daily basis in my salon. I’m sure it’s a good clipper but I didn’t want to try and figure out before each haircut, how to find the desired length, when I already know, each of my customers uses a number one on the side, etc.

Good clippers, get the job done.Pros:1) Lightweight2) Holds charge for a decent amount of time,3) Charging caddy helps minimize the space they take up on my station which I really like.Cons:1) These are very loud. It took me a little time to adjust from my corded clippers which are almost silent to these that can make it harder to hear what guests are telling me.2) These clipper blades get HOT, I have to be really cautious if I use these on kids because they heat up fairly quickly even with proper cleaning and oiling before and during cuts.Overall I really like these clippers. They are light weight enough that I can use them for 8 hours with out fatigue. The heat and loudness of them makes them hard to use on some of my younger and more nervous clients but they are still a solid pair of reliable clippers.

This is bar far the best hair trimmer I've ever used. Wish I would have just spent the money years ago. I use this for at home use. Works great for body hair.

I use the clipper professionally and for the most part is does good. But it does catch on coarse hair which I’m pretty disappointed about.

Love these clippers! Love how they cut. They are the perfect size not to big or small. Very comfortable to hold.
