So far so good,
I bought the generator with electric start and a key fob. That was before I realized that you still had to manually turn on the generator. The key fob wont work untill you turn the generator on, so if you're at the generator, you just start it. Unit does not have automatic choke it has electric manual choke. I've had some issues with the spark plug miss firing. Am considering maybe a better plug, Like a iridium plug, other than that unit seems to run pretty good, it's not real loud

Super easy to use and really quiet
I’ve owned a couple of portable generators but this is the first inverter generator. I have to say I’m really impressed so far. I have about 10 hrs on it since buying about a month ago and it’s been great and pretty quiet. Runs everything in my 21ft RV with no trouble, which includes a 13,500 BTU air conditioner. It’s not the lightest generator but the wheels and handle make moving it around really easy. Picking it up, however; is a different story. Also, with just 1.8 gals of fuel it isn’t going to run very long with a full load but that’s the trade-off when you get a “portable” generator.Overall though I’d say this is a fantastic product for the money and performs as expected.

Got it for the inverter because my Generac xl5500 is no longer good for sensitive equipment.
I purchased this unit to replace my Generac xl5500. I wanted an inverter because all comparable units to my Generac had total harmonic distortion which was too high. During the last power outage, we lost fridge computer board(did not have a surge suppressor on it). So I purchased the Firman W3382 inverter to run my house during an emergency($830 at Home Depot). Our emergency power requirements are not too heavy, and 3300w should run everything that we need Fridge, freezer and some lights in summer, and Fridge, Freezer, NG furnace in winter, and maybe sump pump. It is single phase, so I needed an adapter to connect the TR 30 amp 120 outlet to my house 14/30-240V plug which cost another $26. But with this connection, I can connect to both sides of my electrical panel. My home does not have any 240V appliances, so this works. If you need one of these units, get a Costco membership because once a year they have the dual fuel wisper model for $675(last one February 2022). If you need it now, buy it here on Amazon. After purchase(6/21), I performed the break in process for this unit. Add oil, run 1 hour, change oil, run for 8 hours with plugged in load, change oil, then Connect to the house, test for polarity on both sides of the breaker panel, then run the fridge and freezer and TV for an hour. Everything worked fine. Then I ran it out of gas, added a little oil to the cylinder, coated it and placed into long term storage mode. Sometime in 2022, I will fire it up for another test if we do not have an emergency. As for fuel, We keep 27 gallons of stabilized fuel(rotated every 6 months) for the next emergency. The Generac would use 2.5 gallons of gas per day on our emergency running cycle(4 hr in morning and 4 hr at night). This Firman should use about 2 gallons over that same period because the load will be about the same.

save your money don't buy a Firman generator
I bought a firman generator 2nd hand. it had never had gas in it .brand new. put gas in it and hooked to my RV and ran my AC for about 20 minutes. it shut down and started running very rough. I let it cool down it was very hard to start. later on I tried to start it and it would not turn over. I had to take the spark plug out and it shot gas all over. The cylinder was full of gas. Nothing but trouble and nothing from Firman. Try something else
