This is a quality piece of furniture; it looks great and seems to be durably constructed
I am very pleased with how this piece looks. Also, I am very pleased with the quality of the wood. It's heavy enough to have a substantial feel that cheap furniture lacks. I like the functionality with one criticism. The good parts are the hinged lid has a nice action and means my turntable is protected when not in use... and when in use. The area underneath has good smart and useful dividers. And the left side has moveable shelves which can accommodate accessories... or I might even turn it into a liquor cabinet. My criticism is this: The space for the turntable is tight. Mine fit, but you can see in the photos that my power and RCA cords are squeezed very tight and barely fit. Also, if your turntable has a plastic cover that hinges open, you almost certainly wont be able to leave it on. So, I'd recommend you measure your turntable and make sure it will fit. I also had one blemish on the console which is unfortunately right on the front of the hinged lid. Not a huge deal to me... I will fill it with some color and call it good. Overall I would give it a 9/10, losing one point for the tight space for the turntable. I'm really pleased otherwise.

Nice stereo console - well designed
This is very well designed and high quality. There are lots of pieces and hardware, but the instructions were clear and I was able to put it together by myself. However I really could have used a second person when attaching the right top panel over the turn table section. You really need someone to hold it up while putting in the 4 short screws to hold it in place. I was able to do it after several frustrating tries. The back panel is wood and not some cardboard back. There is a hole on each side in the back to feed cables, etc. (I don't think the spec I viewed prior to buying it showed the back hole on the right for the turn table). The biggest criticism I have regards the last step when installing the left outer door panel. Each sliding door has two pins on the top. The pins have to be "down" to get the door in and then you manually slide the pins up to hold the door in place. I was able to do that for the left pin. But since you have to be able to access the pin on the back of the door to slide it up, I couldn't slide the pin up on the right because the inner sliding door on the right is in the way. They should have designed the pins with a spring that don't require manual manipulation. I was short one screw when assembling it, but it came with extra hardware so crisis averted. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I made sure I measured my equipment first to ensure it would fit in this console.

May require slight tweaking
All in all, it does the job. I only have two basic gripes with this piece of furniture. First - You get what you pay for, it’s cheap furniture. Made from what appears to be press board with a wood veneer applied to it. But I suppose I’d be asking too much for solid wood at this price. Second - (and this is why it lost a star) It’s layout is well thought out in the big picture but the little details aren’t all there. Its layout, in broad terms, is stereo / Hi-Fi components in the left compartment, turntable and vinyl in the right. Sounds good! They even provide holes in the back panel to pass wiring between the compartments. Excellent! The left compartment even has two shelves in. Bonus! Those shelves would provide great weight dispersion for your components so that the bottom device is not being crushed under the full weight of your system. However! These shelves are fitted precisely to the compartment, thus preventing the ability to pass any wiring between layers. This necessitates either crushing your equipment or modifying the shelves. I recognize modifying the shelves is a relatively easy thing to accomplish but this is a media console and little things like this should have been considered. Still, it looks good. It went together fairly easily (took about an hour). And with a little modification does the job.

It looked pretty good coming out of the box—was going to be ...
It looked pretty good coming out of the box—was going to be 5 stars. Here’s what happened: It lost one star because it’s pressboard with veneer. And not the greatest veneer. The edges splinter very easily. It lost another star because there is one hole drilled in the back of the turntable spot for wires, but that’s it. Want to use and amp? Get ready to drill. Want a tuner? Get ready to drill. Want a CD player? Well, that’s got holes! Nope, not really, you have to drill for that too! It lost another star because it’s not deep enough for standard audio component sizes. Well, actually it is, but only if your wires add absolutely no depth to the back. It’s like they looked up the size of a component, made the shelf exactly that size and not a millimeter bigger. If your wires need more than 1 mm to stick out the back, you can’t close the doors. I ended up just cutting a 5x17 window in the back so my receiver’s ass can hang out the back. And the legs are crap. They’re held on by two short bolts into anchors mounted into pressboard with veneer. If you lean on it, the anchors will pull out. If your kid pokes it, the anchors will pull out. If your dog pees on it, pray to god it’s a straight downward stream, cause any side stream will generate enough sideways force that the anchor bolts will tear out. I’m thinking of taking the legs off and putting it on blocks for that hipster, urban grunge look. Since this is obviously all about looks anyway.

Not the best
Assembly was relatively easy, some parts did come damaged which was very frustrating considering it was found out halfway through assembly, customer service was quick to send replacements. The product quality is good considering it is stable and looks nice in our room. However the quality of the design for the components is poorly done. We have a smaller turntable that barely fits on the platform. Also the receiver we have barely fits on the shelf as well. Overall it was the best priced option for a setup of this size we could find but you can see why.

Unanswered questions from the listing
The cabinet is robust and well made. Writing a review to address some things that are not in the listing. First, there are already pre-drilled holes for both sides of the cabinet. The pictures make it look like there is olnly one, but there is a pass-through hole for both. Another question I had was can you add additional holes in the back as pass-throughs? I assumed the back would just be a flimsy cardboard that you can cut through. It's not, it's a full size piece, as thick as the rest of the cab. Can you cut through it? Probably, but you'll need a hole saw, a jigsaw or Dremel is not gonna cut it. Finally, measure your receiver from the very back to the very front. I have an Harman Kardon 670. The specs in the manual shows the receiver will fit just fine, but in reality, the knobs on the front and the RCAs and wires in the back add about two inches to those specs. I'm my case, the knobs won't allow me to use the sliding doors. For me this is fine as I love seeing the components, but this could be an issue for someone else. This unit is definitely a few steps above most furniture you find on here and for good money.

Probably my favorite Amazon purchase in years.
I can’t say enough great things about my whole experience thus far with this Crosley console. I’ve been contemplating purchasing it for nearly a year now and finally decided to give it a try as an early Father’s Day present for my husband to pair with his turntable that I fixed after being out of commission for over 2 years. The shipment arrived nearly a week earlier than expected, the packaging had minimal damage and all of the pieces were well protected with minimal damage (the handles were packaged together without any wrapping between them so there were some visible scratches from where they rubbed together during transit but nothing too crazy. It took me less than 1.5 hours to unbox, assemble, clean up and move this console into place all on my own. I was blown away with how easy it was to assemble and how sturdy the construction is. I even let my 3 year old help. No missing parts and the directions were very clear. No flimsy cardboard backing or painted particle board. It’s veneered wood but really does look nice and for the money you’re really getting a deal on the quality you get. Given the fact that we have a couple of young toddlers running around and the trend for mid century modern will be outdated in the not so distant future, this console is definitely sturdy enough to take us beyond trend life and abuse by tots. I highly recommend it. It looks great and fit our most played records and our record player great. The only thing that would have been would have been to set it up so you could put record racking in both sides of the cabinet. I will likely drill a higher set of holes for the pins to move the shelves up a little higher so we can instal racks for more records on the other side and have 2 narrow shelf options for miscellaneous storage.

Love this high quality media console!
This is an AMAZING piece. It took my husband about 90 minutes to put together. I am not good at assembly so don’t think I could have on my own. Once put together it fit perfectly in our space. It is great quality and does in fact accommodate 75 records. It has enough space for our CD player and Bluetooth speakers. We plan on using the rest of the space for our CDs. I highly recommend this piece.
