I’ve had this pillow for about a month, and I’m truly impressed with the reduction in neck pain and morning headaches. I deal with chronic migraines, so I’m constantly searching for things that will help. I don’t know yet if this reduces overall migraine numbers, but I’m definitely waking up with fewer headaches, and my morning neck pain is very much reduced.I am primarily a side sleeper, followed by a back sleeper. Laying on my stomach will result in an instant, terrible migraine, so I am unable to report on its help for that. For side and back it has been great.It is not quite as comfortable as a regular pillow for things like reading or phone-browsing in bed (on your side). Because the pillow cradles your head, it comes up further across your face than a pillow would. I’ve overcome this by propping my head on the side for reading in bed, but best sleep practices say we shouldn’t be doing anything but sleeping in bed anyhow!I try to change my pillowcases often, so I don’t feel that using the provided zip covers are the most convenient. Instead I use a regular pillow case. The one pictured is a king-sized pillow case (I have a lot around because of my previous pillow), but a standard sized pillow case fits on it fine.In terms of smell...it did have a relatively strong chemical odor the first night or so. It wasn’t very off-putting for me, though. Now, a month later, if I purposefully sniff it, I can still smell a whiff of the same odor. Perhaps someone who is super sensitive would have trouble with it, but it hasn’t bothered me at all.I am relatively tall, at 5’11”. I have the “high” side of the pillow at my neck, which makes the other side the low side which has a little bit of a projection, which is kinda odd pressed against the headboard. But perhaps someone shorter would use that under their neck, which makes this more versatile, and the oddness isn’t that big a deal.

Sound like an overstatement? Not for someone who had been dealing with chronic neck pain from bad pillows for years which was leading to a poor quality of life because I'd be in pain all day. I went through dozens of pillows and spent hundreds of dollars over the course of 2 years trying to find a pillow that didn't leave me with debilitating neck pain. I was constantly tossing and turning to try and find the right position with the other pillows, but none felt quite so effortlessly supportive like this one.I was about ready to give up after buying all the highly rated pillows on Amazon with no success. I took a chance on this one with zero expectations as I was beyond deflated at that point. Well, it's been one month since I've had this pillow and there hasn't been ONE night that I haven't been able to fall asleep within minutes and wake up with ZERO NECK PAIN. It was a bit stiff at first, but broke in by the 3rd night and it's been magical since.Many of the other memory foam pillows were too stiff or too high up. I find the higher side on this pillow the perfect fit. Note that this pillow has a lower "high" height than many of the other ones on Amazon. It also broke in incredibly quickly.In case this helps anyone make a purchase, I'm a 6ft 175lb man sleeping on the Casper select mattress from Costco, which is a fairly firm mattress. I'm a back sleeper but occasionally sleep on my stomach and side. This pillow works for all positions but in my opinion is best for back, then stomach and side.I am not joking when I say that I'm considering buying a lifetime supply just so I can have this amazing godsend of a pillow for the rest of my life. In fact, I've just ordered another as I must find a way to support this wonderful business that changed my life. Thank you(!!) and I hope anyone with chronic neck pain will give this pillow a try.

I am a side/back sleeper. I decided to try this pillow based on reviews b/c I’ve tried nearly a dozen pillows over the last two years. All were too soft/firm, which kept my neck at weird angles and simply found it hard to get a good night’s sleep.It appears that I may have found my perfect pillow. I’ve had it for a week and have noticed that I am sleeping way more soundly than before. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m actually getting some real sleep. It does take a few days to get used to b/c of its unique design, which is genius and it works in its (and your) favor. It has the right amount of support that aligns my neck and spine, and cradles my neck/head nicely without being over-intrusive. This pillow provides many options for sleeping positions, which I enjoy. I will be taking this with me when I travel.If it weren’t for the initial smell, which is obnoxious, I would have given it 5 stars. It made my entire entire bedroom smell and takes nearly a week for the smell to dissipate. When I first received it, I washed both pillowcases immediately and sat the foam near an open window throughout the week. A week later it still has a mild (but tolerable) scent.FYI...this pillow comes with two pillowcases (one white; one gray). The white one will already be on the pillow when you take it out of the box.
