Amazing device
Works a treat, helped me diagnose my car of any faults. Also unlocked developer mode on my MIB2 infotainment system so get access to FullLink. I saved over £240 because I bought OBDeleven.

Future of diagnostics
Wouldn’t recommend if you are running a garage as you’d probably want a laptop. But for the average person who likes to do a bit of work on their car and tinker. This is is future. Used clone versions of vagcom etc. and also cheap Chinese obd tools. But this is just simple. Works and no headache. You do have to pay for access to long coding and it’s on a subscription basis which I don’t like. But as it just works without any issues. To me it’s worth it.

Cheap OBD plug and endless pay walls to get even simple features
Bought this a while ago to do a simple rear brake change due to electric calipers. Bought the product with the information that you wouldn't need anything further services in order to do simple service tasks which is wrong as you need to buy further plans in order to do simple service tasks and full scans of the car as 90% is hidden behind a pay wall. The plug its self is a cheap plastic plug which has no structural protection so simply having it on my keys in case of needing to scan the car on the side of the road or something has managed to break the plug after a couple of months and had only been plugged into the car 3 or 4 times. For the money it is not worth it and the cost of the plug its self is only half of the cost to use the full features would recommend looking else where for an genuine OBD reader not this gimmick that everyone for some reasons recommends.

Removes some of the guesswork
I'm definitely no car mechanic so this gadget has made my life much easier in terms of diagnosing possible engine issues... has already saved me around £300 in recovery and diagnostic charges, and also enabled me to customise some of the headlight and dashboard features in my Audi A5... bonus!

Convenient OBD2 reader with issues and questionable use
I was first interested in finding an OBDII scanner due to a "fault" found during a routine service and where they wanted to charge up to £120 for a diagnostics check I decided to take it into my own hands and get this. If you're not urgently looking for a scanner, then look on OBDeleven's website since they usually have various offers (right now they have the 11.11 and a winter sale).I went for the basic model and at the time of purchase you were able to get free credits from watching ads. That has now been stopped and the only way to get credits is by buying them. The credits are used when performing "One-Click Apps", something I've not needed to do or might make your vehicle illegal to drive (such as activating Video in Motion).Anyway I was able to connect to my car and clear the "fault" and saved myself some money. However you'll need a good internet connection and sometimes it takes a while for the dongle to communicate with the app. You may also get false faults flagging up if you try and scan with the engine on, so be sure to only scan when the ignition is on.But now having cleared the fault, I've realised that it has really basic features and to do anything else other than to read/clear faults, you'll need to pay for the functions/features.Now if you want to use more advanced features like coding or adaptation, you'll need to purchase a subscription plan (Pro for £49.99 and Ultimate for £139.99) if you already have the dongle. This now makes the initial price seem less attractive, especially when these are only yearly subscriptions when there are other scanners that only require the one off purchase. It's worse now than before, when at a time you were able to buy a "lifetime" subscription and not pay anything more.So do I regret buying this? Yes and no. It did what I needed it to do but the basic functions really limit its future potential and the additional costs to unlock advanced features make it less attractive. It's a shame they removed the ability to get free credits but I imagine they faced legal issues.

good to read error codes, app is easy to use , useful to check your Audi car
I'm using this device only to read and clear error codes. I'm not interested in paid features like adaptations or customization... For Audi A5 convertible OBD eleven is capable of reading convertible roof errors which is very useful and why I bought this device. Diagnostics is way more detailed compared to the handheld ODB2 reader I bought for 20 pounds. App is well designed and easy to use. I can recommend this device.
