I have been playing sports for a long time now, and always try to keep up with the trends. The biggest one in volleyball is wearing arm sleeves, and for good reason. I first discovered them while watching volleyball on TV. Then I started to see colleges around me wear them. So I decided to try them out before the season started. Funny enough now at the end of the season, our whole team wears them everyday.Amazon is my go-to, and the cheap price of only 10 dollars for a pair is a great deal. The quality is perfect for anyone looking to protect themselves from the sun, cover up tattoos or burn marks, or just keep cool on a hot day. They came in the mail on the expected delivery time and were packaged well. When I opened them, they were sealed in a little plastic bag and folded. My first reaction was how soft they were; I wanted to put them on immediately. They were so comfortable that I wore them to volleyball practice that day.My first experience wearing the sleeves was all around positive. While diving on the gym floor, the sleeves were very smooth and prevented me from having any floor burns. During the practice, they stayed cool and breathable the whole two hours. So much so that I forgot I was wearing them at times. I did get one small hole in the elbow on the left arm. To prevent this I try to rotate the pairs so that they stay effective, however I don’t see a way you can patch the holes. I wouldn’t expect them to develop holes if you are doing any of the following activities: hiking, working, biking, spending time outside, or even bowling. In that case, they are actually very resilient.I was so impressed that I recommended these sleeves to my good friend on my team who is a phenomenal volleyball player. She plays the setter position which means she is always diving and sliding on the floor after balls. Every practice she wears them and also comments on how they look cool. Since she is planning on paying college volleyball, she bought her own pair off of amazon as well.After a few months of usage, they are still very promising. I just put them in the washer and dryer to get cleaned and that does not seem to damage them at all. Occasionally I will air dry them as well, but if you would rather use the convenience of the dryer, that is totally safe for this product. The only thing that is affected by the wash is after a few months the “Sports Trail'' logo starts to break and peel apart. I can usually go for about three days of two hour practices before I need to clean and wash the sweat out. After that they are still very soft and don't have odor.Overuse is what makes or breaks these sleeves. They are so cheap that I was impressed with the quality right away. However, when you use them almost everyday for 3 months, they can start to fall apart. Keep in mind that I am playing sports with them on a regular basis, so if your purpose doesn’t include physical activity, then this does not apply to you. Towards the end of my volleyball season, some of the seams on my oldest pair started to come apart. This is probably caused by my having to pull them up after a long play or match.I highly recommend giving this product a try for any purpose needed, especially sports. The occasional wear and tear is expected of any athletic gear, but you will receive great results for the duration of your season.

What more can I say: They work as intended and expected. These are nicely made arm warmers that offer protection from the sun or wind or cold. They stretch to fit nice and tight, no slipping down or up. One size fits my arms as well as my wife's. The fabric feels soft and comfortable against the bare skin.

These feel good on my arms. I don't use the thumb slots, simply pulling that part up onto my wrist. In fact I try to get the hole on the left to correspond to my Fitbit. It would be great for smart watch wearers too.. They are plenty long enough, but the hemmed top is tight. You don't want these to slide down, but by folding the fabric over on itself and stitching, you create a less stretchy band that can roll and feel a little like a rubber band after a while. I'm 5'8"and 160, so it's not like I have overly large upper arms. I believe they are loosening a bit with wear, and they're not so tight I won't wear them. It's just I end up fiddling with them to find a comfortable spot. But they absolutely keep me from getting rash from the evergreens, cut from dead branches while mowing or scratched when reaching into plants and gardens. And despite being long and of decent weight fabric, they feel cool.

Really nice sleeves to protect your arms while the earth burns up around you. Against my better judgement I tried them on a bright hot day without sun screen underneath, and they worked really well - no sun damage, plus they kept the sweat in so I actually lost less water than usual and felt a lot better at the end of 3 hours out in the mid-day sun. Only caveat is that the sizing runs a little small. For me it was perfect, as I have thin arms (strength, not bulk), but if you actually have biceps, these might be a bit tight. OTOH, tight is good, as you don't want clothing flapping in the wind while you ride. Glad I have two pairs so I can use them every day and keep them clean.

Bought 2 pair for grandson at Christmas and he loved them so much - I bought them again!They’re comfortable and fit perfectly - great quality!

I wear them golfing and mowing the grass. I am surprised at how cool they are. I thought my arms would be sweaty and hot. Not the case. After washing they retain the stretch and I couldn't be harrier. Great getting two pair for the price.

They are useful for sun protection, but if you're looking for something that will hold up while you're outside working or doing some other strenuous activity then they're not the strongest material. Mine ended up with holes after a few weeks as the material was easily picked. That being said, they fit well and at least for blocking the sun they do as they claim. I just wish they were a little more durable.

Soft product and beautiful colors. Comfortable. If you are older and want to wear it because of sensitive skin, do know if you are above size 16, it may get tight by your upper arm. Otherwise it’s beautiful comfortable and cool.

Great to keep arm from getting a sunburn while driving

The sleeves are very comfortable to wear. Fits almost perfect. Waiting to wear it the next time i am out playing cricket.

They are good. I cut holes in them and used them for a Jeff Hardy costume. Worked well.

Could be 2 inch longer
