Great quick read, that I would highly recommend for any sports fan!
To start, I really enjoyed the author's style of writing. All of the aspects of successful sponsorship agreements are broken down into understandable and relatable examples and case studies. Balkam does a tremendous job of explaining the what, why, and how of successful sponsorship agreements as well as introduce you to the concept of "Win-Win-Win" agreements.A key aspect of the book is the relationship between professional sports and the positive impacts that they can have on the community that supports them. Balkam provides great examples of brands and sporting events coming together to have a positive impact on sustainability, and financially, in the community where the events were taking place.If you are interested in the intersection of sports, business, and community I would highly recommend picking up a copy!

This book was jam packed with knowledge that everyone in sports and business needs to be implementing in their sponsorship strategies.The author does a great job of explaining concepts with real life sports examples and showing the ROI and brand value that adding purpose can bring. It's a great guide for professionals in the world of sports, marketing, and business on how to make these changes successfully.It was an enjoyable read as well, and wasn't overwhelming with statistics or facts. The author did a great job sharing stories and relating the concepts back to the reader to easily grasp and run with.Such an important book that is changing the mindset of professionals in sports.
