This was the perfect addition to my son’s pirate Halloween costume! It does slip off the shoulder a little bit, but if you pin it to the shoulder of their shirt, it stays in place

This guy is absolutely adorable! He's surprisingly well made for such a cheap plush. He sits nicely on my shoulder, although the band is a little tight in my armpit. I imagine it would be more comfortable for a child, but I doubt it would work for an adult larger than me ... for reference: I'm 5'4" and 115#

Added to my son’s Halloween costume and it was she perfect touch!

This shoulder parrot was the star of the show at the pirate party! It perched perfectly and had everyone cracking up. Honestly, I think it stole the spotlight from my costume—people were more interested in talking to the parrot than to me! If you want to turn heads and get some laughs, this little guy is a must-have. Just be prepared for the parrot to get more compliments than you do!

I had to cut the band and sew velcro onto it and then sew velcro onto my son's pirate costume to get this to stay. As it came, it just slid right down and off and looked ridiculous dangling sideways.

This product is really intended for a child to wear on their shoulder for Halloween or onboard a Disney Cruise for Pirate’s Night. I took some black elastic and added it to the elastic already on the parrot and made it long enough to fit on my shoulder. It has Velcro on it so I sewed it on to the new length I added.

This is more what a child would wear. I purchased for a pirate days festival and it was ridiculously small.
