Accusize Industrial Tools 1/2" Mini Indexable Turning Tool and Boring Bar Set, 4 Turning + 1 Boring, TCMT21.5 Inserts, 2386-0012

I bought a bench top lathe that I used these on. I used them for making rings at first, then made some loader bucket pins. I don't have years of experience or anything, but these didn't give me any problmes.

The quality and build of these tools is top notch and totally worth the price. I have a 7 x 12 lathe and I just installed a quick-change tool post, and it is like this set of cutting tools was made for it. Look no further.

While not the top name brand manufacture, seems to be of nice weight and design.It is not a typical "bargain" brand rough low quality build. If taken care of, and not abused,they should last a very long time. High praise to Accusize for good products at prices in line forthe component. T.

You will go through inserts, depending on your intended purpose you may want to purchase extras right away.

Product was use to update older model metal lathe.

Just like many of the other cheap sets out there, this one is off by a couple thou.Would need to mill off the excess.if you have a meal to do this then great, otherwise you're depending on yourself to file it down perfectly.Otherwise you are not going to get chips at all, the fact that it doesn't meet up centered to provide a clean cut, it puts a lot of stress on the work piece.You can bring the size of a stock down but you'll not be able to cut a clean face at all.

These are as good of a machinist tool as I have seen and I have been doing this for 40 years now and have been buying accusize tools for a few years now and I must say quality of them has always been first class, the only thing I can say a draw back of them are the inserts are a odd size, to get off the shelf inserts from supplier it's just a little thicker but still worked, very pleased with all my accusize tools, definitely will continue buying them
