I use this in my camper van. My main battery is 24 volts, which means it ranges from 21 to 28 volts through its charge/discharge cycle. For efficiency I use as many DC appliances as possible to avoid inversion losses.All electronics run on DC. A wall adapter converts AC to DC. An AC inverter converts solar or battery power from DC to AC. So powering my computer, monitors, and other electronics from an inverter requires a DC to AC to DC conversion with an unavoidable 5 to 20 percent power loss.Using this USB C adapter allows me to replace 3 conversions with 1. A DC to DC conversion with lower total losses and negligible standby losses (just having the inverter on is a steady 20 Watt draw). I bought a computer that can be powered with USB PD and a 100W car adapter that can take 24 volts to power my computer. My monitors run on 12 volts. Could be better but within tolerances. I tested it on my monitors and they work fine.Now my computer and monitors are powered with direct current with no inverter. Which is awesome. I sometimes spend days off the grid on long roadtrips and having enough power is a necessity. This adapter takes a wide input voltage range and works great for powering multiple USB devices. What could make it better? More precise output, more USB PD ports, and more power. That said, I came here to buy a second one.

I've been using this power block in my vehicle for nearly 2 months with no issues. It fits into my console with only the power and USB cords visible, which enhances security.. I can charge up to four devices at a time and typically charge two cell phones simultaneously. I'm no looking for a dependable induction charger that will connect to a RAM system to pair with this device to make it even more useful. In my opinion, this is a device that has been long needed and I'm glad it's here now. I may purchase another for a different vehicle.

This works to charge my laptop and phone in my off grid home, the included power cord is a little short but you can replace it with another that is longer and goes directly to your battery/power source

All ports are just fast charging. Expected the USB c port at least to be PD super high speed but nope just another fast charge port..

I modified a Milwaukee 18v “Power Wheels” adapter to power this charger. The USB-C port fails to charge after about 10 seconds and noticeable heat can be felt on the outside of the device. All the other ports work and will rapidly charge devices as expected. The device says explicitly that it accepts 12-24v and the battery is 18v; well within the printed voltage range. This may be just a defective unit. Unfortunately I did not try it in a car (12v) to verify functionality before I started the project. I’ll buy a second one and update this review.*** UPDATE ***Second unit arrived and it works flawlessly on both 12v and 18v. Cracked open original and some metal objects fell out with one stuck to some adhesive (see photo). Once metal “shavings” were removed, it worked great. 4 out of 5 stars.

This charger charges faster than the nav software can drain the battery on my phone. I got it for my boat, and can easily charge multiple devices, including my Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad and Bluetooth speaker simultaneously. Highly recommend!

I use it on 12V and 24V to charge my laptop as well as phones and tablets. It does get warm.when the laptop is plugged in but overall it performs very well.

Great, fast charger for the car! Charges multiple devices at once. Really came in handy on my recent road trip.
