These pens are really nice to use, the lines are sharp and clear. The only thing about such clear lines is you have to wait 20+ seconds for it to dry, so erasing mistakes can take time. This is a common trait for pens like this, to deposit so much chalk to create such sharp easy to view lines is you use a lot of liquid.Once you've drawn something it fixes really nicely, I've run my hands over the glass and had no smearing, blurring or line bleed once it's dried. Cleaning it off requires a damp cloth or a firm dry wipe. I've only used these on glass and glass like surfaces, never tried to use it on porous surfaces where it would be permanent, so I leave that to other reviewers to write about.These pens are really good to use and the company who makes them have a really good reputation for this stuff, having used their products before I've never had a problem.

I love these, we brought them to fill some time in lock down with window art but these have turned into so much more. She’s taken to using them on a glass table top to practice her spellings or multiplication tables etc. It’s more fun than pencil and paper so when I suggest getting them out it always gets a cheer.... if it gets her to engage rather than moan what’s not to like? And they clean off easily enough, wipe with a wet cloth then dry with kitchen towel! Done, the tables now a table again and she hasn’t moaned her way through yet more home schooling!

Overall a nice product however some of my pens, no matter how much I shake to mix them, still come through watery with very little pigment which makes them useless on a blackboard. I also noticed that some colours (such as yellow and light green) stained my blackboard and left behind traces of previous images/notes which makes the whole purpose of the blackboard a little ruined. The colours and shades are great, I would recommend them for artists using black/dark paper, but as a chalkboard pen I can't fully recommend them.

I wanted to use these pens, but my children got there first! They love these pens, the colours are beautiful and there is no horrible chemical smell, which I have found with some other chalk pens. The pens also wash off their clothing and skin really easily, When they are used they leave lovely bright, clear colours and write very smoothly. I have had to hide them for when I need them, as the kiddies will use them all up if not! Will be purchasing again when we need more, thank you.

Only used the brown so far. Chalk was a pain for our labels and this works fine. Didn't want anything I'd need to bake on the glass of the jars to make it stick, and this obvs won't stay on the actual glass, but so far it's staying much better than the normal chalk. Don't forget to shake! And to store horizontally

Brilliant! We have tried various chalk markers. These are the best ones yet. Lovely colours and having two tips to choose from is great. They come with these chalkboard removable stickers. We use it on our glass white board and the marker comes off easily. Doesn’t dry up as you’re writing and the the ink to flows to the tip really well. Will buy again!

I bought these since I wanted something that would write on black paper. I love pastel colours and after reading positive reviews I thought I might as well try them out.The colours on white background are just as bright and vibrant as when on a black background. They colours are what they say they are, pastel. As well as using them on paper I’ve used them on a glass surface and they come up beautifully and clean off with water.I can’t recommend these enough.

Really impressive, look great but have been difficult to remove off chalk boards on my bar. I have had to respray the boards black as cannot remove the chalk pen writing completely. So I suppose if I can never wipe them off of any surface then they should be marketed as ‘permanent pens with a chalk effect’
