Overachievers
I bought these seeds because I couldn't find Indigo Rose tomato plants at my local garden centers this year. I started them in small pots and frankly, the seeds looked pretty unimpressive. Putting 4 to a pot, I thought that maybe one of the four would germinate from these wimpy looking little guys. Heck, I got so sick of planting them that I chucked the remaining seeds into a larger "communal" pot. I eventually located the same plants near my home and bought myself two as insurance. TWO. Then it happened - Every. Darn. Seed. Germinated. I'm now sitting on in excess of 50 plants and they look quite healthy, now over 6 inches tall. Madness.

NOT INDIGO ROSE!
EDIT: ok I felt compelled to update as we finally have some fruit… these are definitely NOT indigo rose tomatoes…. As you see here they are plain old red tomatoes, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEYThere is some inconsistency in the growth, however every single seeds sprouted I haven’t seen any fruiting yet but will update once that happens

Not worth the work
Big plants covered with large cherry tomatoes. A little smaller than a golf ball. But I have never picked more than 3 in one day. Most in late September are still not ripe. Some of the tomatoes have been there for months. And most split when they are ripe. To be fair this year has been rainy but these seem more prone to splitting than others. Decent taste but what do you do with 2-3 tomatoes other than mix n a salad with others. Black Cherry are a much better choice and yield 8-10 or more at once and taste better. They do look kind of neat but I don’t think I’ll grow them again.
